Los Barriles Mexican Restaurant

This is our go to spot I do enjoy the food is cooked perfectly. My go to is the menudo or fish tacos. The service honestly could be better the waiters always seem slow and not as polite they always take forever to come to the tables and ask if we need anything.

Since the end of February, the kitchen has been slow, getting out online orders. The hosts/waitresses are usually occupied chatting with each other and not greeting live customers when they walk in, which creates a lot of confusion. This restaurant used to be on point.

we had the carnitas, the food was dry, and some of it was burnt, like the last of the pot burnt.... and thw tostadas, for the chips and salsa were extra salty..

This review is for Sunny & Fine's Breakfast Burritos, which is located INSIDE Los Barriles Mexican Restaurant.
I placed a DoorDash order for some food from Sunny & Fine’s Breakfast Burritos but there is no place on Google for me to review them.
I ordered 2 burrito bowls, 2 fries, and 4 burritos.
The burrito bowl was good but too spicy for me and TOO MANY jalapenos were in it. I wish I could have customized it to remove or reduce the amount of jalapeno. The portion size of food was a good amount. I ordered 2 orders of the fries but they were more like chopped up potatoes and each order were two different types of potatoes; not sure why? I liked the one that was mixed with chorizo but not the other one so much.
We haven't tried the burritos yet but they are big. I wish they would have labeled them with words instead of numbers. Also, this place is inside another restaurant which was VERY CONFUSING to my DoorDash driver. He texted me asking where this place was and that the address was taking him to Tamales Lupita, which is across the street on the other side of Doniphan. The DD Driver apologized but it wasn't his fault that he couldn't find the restaurant. Sunny and Fine's needs to tell their customers where they are located and BE SPECIFIC! Overall, I will probably not eat or order from this place again.

Only one person taking orders for the lobby, barely came out. I told the waitress ‘no onions’ on my burger, I am allergic to them, and the second I checked the burger, a whole circle of onions. I told the waitress, and she had told me ‘yes onions’ when I told her twice no onions. And the French fries that came with order were still uncooked in the middle, tasted and felt weird the first few fries to fully realize it, it had this unseasoned and pale look to them. Also ordered tostadas, but the tostada wasn’t even crunchy, it felt like raw tortilla. When I told the waitress, she had this attitude and even rolled her eyes and sighed. Horrible service and experience.

10 out of 10 accompanied by beans and potatoes with chorizo.
Very rich and good service

Have some of the best food hands down. I highly recommend. Sorry I didn’t take a picture of the food, got my plate and went off on it. Really great customer service always come and check up to make sure I’m good and if I need anything else. Thank you I will be a regular customer.
