We had a great visit! Another taco shop in the area was closed, so we walked to Tacos Pipeye as an alternative and were not disappointed! The owner was helpful in offering recommendations to try, and we got a full variety of different tacos to sample. I would definitely get more of the al pastor on another visit. The salsa bar was the highlight, and the salsa with nopales was good enough to just eat by itself.
This is an amazing place to go if you're traveling with kids and need a quick lunch. We had two cranky kids and they were very accommodating! We got tacos, a torta, and a hot dog. I'm not a big fan of corn tortillas and theirs were delicious. The torta was especially good!

Excellent Mexican food in Santa Barbara! It's pretty unassuming, for sure a hole in the wall, and the parking's not easy either. But, the food is absolutely worth it! I was here twice in the same week! We tried the carnitas, al pastor, and chorizo con papas tacos. All delicious! Fresh, homemade tortillas make all the difference to start.
