Customer service really needs improvement. We stopped for brunch on Sunday, ordered 3 plates of Flautas. The waitress brought us drinks and after that never checked on us. We waited for an hour until we decided to leave. When went to the register to pay for our drinks, all the staff said was no worries no need to pay for the drinks. We like to support our local restaurants but customer service is #1 and sadly they lost a regular.

With my father-in-law admitted to a nearby hospital, we were seeking somewhere with local color for breakfast and happened upon this place. We quickly discovered that it is in dire need of changing its name, because there is nothing speedy about it.
I ordered chilaquiles with eggs, and was very clear that I did not want beans. My husband ordered machaca with potatoes. He asked for water and a Diet Coke. I asked for water and coffee. I never received the water, but my husband's glass of water was very large, so I drank part of his. It took a good 10 minutes for my husband's Diet Coke to arrive. My coffee was very weak, little more than hot brown water.
When my order eventually arrived after more than 20 minutes, there was a large portion of beans on the plate--the very thing I had asked NOT be brought to me. So I sent it back. When it was returned to me, I could tell that someone had simply scraped the beans off the plate, because there were remnants on the edge of the plate. I absolutely despise beans! But all this had taken so long and we needed to get back to the hospital, so I ate around the bean remnants.
My dish was okay, but not as flavorful as I had expected from legendary El Paso Mexican cuisine.
There was also a patron there who spoke very loudly, using frequent vulgarities and profanities. We had the impression that he's a regular. For this and the aforementioned reasons, we certainly will not be.

I have been here more than a few times and the food is great but the service is bad. Mainly the younger ones. The other lady that seems to be owner/manager is great!
I loved the Gordita Plate. The waitress was exceptionally kind and provided excellent customer service. She was very attentive to our needs.

The mendoza is usually really good, but today... I got served menudo that was burnt, couldn't even eat it, not only did it smell burned but it tasted burnt...why would they sell it like that!!!... hopefully I do not encounter myself with another money down the drain meal!!
