First of all… the waiter ( I don’t remember her name… but her boyfriend goes to A&M) was AMAZING and so pleasant! The food tasted great! It was worth the drive.
The guy that sat us down to eat, however, was very rude and condescending to the point where we almost just walked out before ordering. Thankfully we had the wonderful waiter or we would’ve.

I have been here in the past with my mom and aunts before. We came in from Midland,Texas to visit family and last night was my daughter 15th birthday so her and I went alone to celebrate her birthday since this is the place my family goes to. We placed our drink order then we didn’t see our witness for another 10 minutes but we saw her visiting other tables around us. Once the food was delivered mine was okay but my daughter steak was still raw and the outside was burnt. Then half way through eating the waitress just drop off our check and didn’t even offer us dessert. I have never felt so unwelcome in my life. Next time I’ll drive the additional 15 mins and eat in Brenham.

Absolutely exceeded my expectations! I ordered the JW’s burger and it was one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, juicy, and the sauces were just right. We also tried the baked potato and the homemade onion rings. The onion rings were a standout: super fresh, crispy, and not greasy at all. It was such a great surprise to find this level of quality in a roadside spot. If you’re passing by, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won’t regret it!
