It was my first time eating here, for sure my last. My friend and I decided to sit at the bar. We sat down and right away. The lady serving us had seemed to be disturbed Anyway, I asked for wings I asked her how many come with it she said “10 wings” I said, “is it possible for me to add five more wings?” She said “ I can’t do that”. Like it was such and impossible task to charge me for five more wings. I also ordered a Jalapeño margarita however, I wasn’t too happy with it so i asked a Michelada instead. I felt some type of pushback anyway my new drink was made it was really good. I also tried asking for shrimp to go with my Michelada They said they weren’t able to do so and made it seem like it was impossible to charge me for shrimp on the side as if they were the ones that were cooking it in back they said they didn’t have the little Shrimp that goes in it I never heard of little shrimp going on Michelada I believe they were referring to shrimp cocktail AnywayI had to finagle to get shrimp on the side, I’m perfectly fine with paying for the jumbo shrimp it on the side. I had also ordered a burger as well to eat there however, from the service I was receiving I was ready to go as soon as possible. so I asked for my burger to go and the tab. One of the waitresses/bartender said I needed a spanking in the restroom due to how difficult I was being I don’t believe that’s what you’re supposed to be telling your customers because I asked if they do military discount which they did I couldn’t tell if they were being sarcastic or not however, I felt very very disrespected I’m not one to write reviews, however, this one is for the books.

Busy place! Nice big bar in the middle of the building. First thing you see when you walk in. Nice music playing. I had chicken strips with onion rings and a side salad. I really thought these rings were going to be super crunchy. I was let down. They tasted good but I wanted that crunch factor. Chicken strips were good and the sauce was tasty. They forgot my salad but it was okay cause I took it back to the hotel, along with my leftover strips and made a salad the next day. Colleagues got fried catfish plate. She said it was good. The other one for the salad and for an additional $2 added a 5 oz (I believe) steak. The add one were like crazy wow. Salmon, chicken, steak and ?? Forgot one for $2-$3. They had some nice adult drink specials that I wish I could have tried. . . $2 margaritas. . . yes. . . wish I could have Our server was super friendly and helpful. She was very attentive.

Lunch specials are great and food is very tasty. In this case pork chops are seasoned well and tender,green beans fresh,mac and cheese very creamy and last but not least the cornbread is moist and not sweet but perfect. Service is good but they are so busy and short handed that they might take a little bit longer to help you . Ambiance is pleasant. This is the upscale of Carrizo Springs which is great. It gets so pack that I think they need to build a 2 story parking,Lol. Many locals from ranchers to rangers attend this place .
I had the worst experience. I had an allergic reaction to the seafood. They don't clean the grill when they cook shrimp, I was really bad and I ask the manager to please ask or advice for food allergies and she blamed me saying I should say about my allergies, fair enough but I don't go to a restaurant thinking about that. I go there trusting the cooks are doing a good job and cleaning their grills every time they cook something on it . This is not the case with this place. Horrible service too. Either they should retrain or close down. I would make a lawsuit but I'm not that petty and I'm just grateful I'm still breathing. Pretty nasty manager.
