Great stop over at Carizo Springs. Very good home style Mexican food. Migas were delicious and salsa had really good taste and a slight kick. Thank you whomever paid for our breakfast. We will pass it forward.
Food was good but the service was very slow. Only 2 servers that were bussing the tables, taking orders, serving the food and running the cash register. They might have been short of staff, I don't know.The interior was very plain. It reminded me of a VFW hall.

Finished to perfection, proper size and fixings, the steak was very tender. The young lady server was very prompt and attentive to my needs. I always order half and half tea/lemonade ( Arnold Palmer) and she got it perfect!
Judging by the patrons I saw while in there, here is where the locals come for a good meal!
If you find yourself around Carrizo Springs TX during lunch time, this place won't disappoint you....
