I believe that I have eaten just about everything that they served. The food is great. I would tell everyone to try the chicken fried steak. It's very delicious and one of the biggest around town. It worth every dollar. What makes the food better is when the cooks really enjoy cooking and They put love and passion into their cooking. Not like other places where the cooks just don't care. about the food they send out.

Unpretentious. A little difficult to find toward the back of a strip of businesses. Amazing home cooking! Best purple hulled peas I've ever had and perfectly fried okra. My husband had the chicken fried steak and it was huge and delicious.

We had a burger and BLT, best that we have had since we moved to Carthage. Great service good prices. The beef patties were huge, I got a double meat and was stuffed. 5 stars

Came an 1 1/2 hours before closing on a Friday night. They were out of a lot of the sides, taco meat and only dessert available. I had onion rings that were too crispy but still edible. Chicken fried chicken or steak both looked good and others said taste was on point. Never had an all onion ring supper before but still walked out full. Waitress was very attentive and had to deliver the out of food notice. Felt bad for her, hopefully her tip kept her in a good mood.

Passing through and wanted an option other than fast food. No frills. About a third of the tables were full upon entering on a Friday night for supper. Requested a BLT, but was told they were out of bacon...ended up ordering a grilled cheese with chips. Requested a children's pizza rolls, but were out of stock, ended up with a grilled cheese with fries. Requested a burger with onion rings. All choices were good with portion size and were tasty. Server was very attentive. At the time we were there most of the people were elderly. In a strip mall behind street facing buildings, so use gps to find the exact location.

I always place orders to go. And the food is delicious. But if i ask if they have any baked potatoes left the person that answers the phone acts like she don't want to check like she don't have time i know they get busy. But i want to know so I can get mashed potatoes if They are out of baked potatoes so they won't be putting what they want. They put turnip greens a couple of times and I don't like them . Also I like to choice the gravy I want along with extra gravy cause it is almost dry on the chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken by the 2 minutes to get home. Also at lunch u have to ask about dessert and drink cause they won't tell us it comes with it. And Texas toast. Not trying to start anything for the person that works there just letting boss know to help improve business. Cause we do like the food. It is delicious.

The burger was top notch. The fries and onion rings were very good. I also ordered a single crispy beef taco and it was way better than it had any right being! Absolutely loved this place. Great food, price, and service.
