This restaurant is a very homely experience. Very friendly service, and the staff interactions with all their customers was excellent. The food was certainly scrumptious! I ordered the kicker hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese and it came with sweet water cornbread. My soul needed this food. And the plate it came on was super cute!
I came to this place on a recommendation and am glad I listened. I certainly recommend this place to anyone else looking to eat somewhere in Carthage!

I loved this little place. If you want home cooking away from home, this is the place. Fast friendly service and the food was really good. My entire meal came to $15.00. Great value!! I highly recommend the chicken fried steak!😋

First & second visit all in one day. Was in town for something & stopped for breakfast. Had 2 egg breakfast with biscuit, bacon & grits & hubby had same but with hashbrowns. Very good. Biscuit tender but didn't fall apart. Everything prepared well. Was in town still so went back for dinner. Chicken fingers & cheeseburger. Onion rings & homemade chips. This place is a winner. Workers are so nice. Nothing fancy but comfortable. They also have a lunch special that looked good.
