Last 2 trips for ice cream...no one working drive thru first time...2nd time, drive thru closed, half the order stations didn't work, the ones that did screeched so loud it was crazy. Took a long time to get order taken and then get 2 sundaes. The new paint job is nice though....smh.

UPDATE: We visited again in December 2024, the food has seriously gone down hill since my last review. I ordered their new smash burger, it was horrible, it had the texture of a press formed patty, it was dense, rubbery and dry. Oh, and those new crinkle cut fries, lets just say that was fries gone so wrong, they were hard and tough, like they had been sitting under a heating lamp for a few hours and then reheated in a microwave. The drinks had way to much carbonation in them. It will be a very long time before I eat at this Sonic again and I can promise I would never order the fries again if the stay with the new ones.
Everything was hot and fresh. Tots were cooked perfectly.

Went there tonight ordered at drive thru no one was there. It took 10 minutes for 2 Jr deluxe burgers and a cheese tot. Everything was ice cold never again!!!

My food was horrible and I couldn't eat it. Bun was burnt and EXTREMELY hard to chew. I tried to call and let them know but no one picked up the phone. I won't be going back to this location.

I had to finally give a review for this sonic. I dont know why, but this latest mess up of an order was truely mind blowing to me. It was the straw that broke the camels back as they say.
After getting the order wrong the first time we decided to keep that order and not even make a big deal and just re-ordered. Tell me why the woman came out again took the order on PAPER, WROTE IT OUT and STILL got the order wrong!? When we got home and took the food out I was floored and upset. How did they get it wrong TWICE?! This isnt even the 1st time this sonic location has messed up an order with us before but this time really irked me💢.

At this particular location, the equipment is broken & it took over 30 minutes for a server to approach us. The 1 time I chose to get out of the car & sit at the outside seating that's provided... I couldn't order due to the equipment malfunctioning. Sitting in PLAIN view of ALL employees, obviously unable to order, I patiently waited. After 20 minutes of employee after employee serving other people in their cars, I had to stop 1 of them & ask that they take my order as their equipment is out of order. She said yes & it STILL took another 15 minutes for the order to be taken. Then it took 30 minutes for us to be seved 3 very simple items. Unacceptable for Sonic... a FAST food place. I love Sonic & usually my service is fantastic, but this location in Carthage, TX, needs people who will do a little bit in customer service.

Their speakers are terrible, you have to yell for them to hear you. Half of their screens don’t turn on, not counting the screens that halfway show what you need. I ordered a chicken sandwich and the lady on the speaker gave attitude because she “couldn’t hear me” talking very loudly into this speaker. I get my chicken sandwich 20 minutes later with my bread beyond burnt and I don’t even know what you would call what they put on there because it wasn’t a drop of mayonnaise, it looked like they rubbed it with the side of a butter knife.

Had problems. I had told the lady i made an order off the app and waited 15 for 2 teas and a small slushie. She proceed to come out with the drinks and said oh you should have said it was a mobile order. Uh I did say it was a mobile order. It's not my fault they can't keep up because they're too busy on their phone and trying to be petty to customers that come for food. It's disgusting if you don't wanna work there, then don't. 😒 don't out that misery on the public, we just hungry and apparently thirsty.

Got my order wrong twice but they’ve been on top of it and corrected it, super polite about it and even gave a refund because of the mistakes. Never have a problem with this sonic and would return again even with the incorrect order
