The best family owned bbq place. I had the twisted nachos, my son had a twisted Tater and my mother in law had a chopped brisket sandwich. The prices are very reasonable, the food is full of flavor and the owner and staff are super friendly and welcoming. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

They have earned the 4.9. Probably should be a 5. The food is exceptional and I don’t even like bbq. As I finished my sandwich I thought to myself “I can’t wait to eat here again.” I’ve never said that at a bbq place before. Owner was outside and talking to the patrons. Workers were extremely personable. Literally everything is right about this place. The fact that anyone gave them less than 5 stars is a travesty.

Nick At Pond Creek Farm
We were in route from south Texas going home to Arkansas and spent the night in Cartidge. Found Twisted Hickory bar-b-que on line and decided to check it out, as we were craving some good Texas bar-b-que. Needless to say, the food at this place was awesome. Keith and Tina, the owners, were the most courteous and gracious hosts imaginable. And the brisket, ribs, and burnt ends were the absolute best we have had in a very long time. We would not for a minute hold back from recommending anyone to check out their awesome food. Please try them out!!

Best BBQ I've had in a long time! Every person that worked there was extremely nice and the food was so good!! I would give this more stars if I could. They had some old classics with their delicious sauce and a few twists like the parfait that I got with a rib. If you are near or traveling through and want some amazing food with exceptional customer service don't pass this place up!

Driving from the Ozarks to the Texas coast we decided to stop at Twisted Hickory BBQ. The food was amazing. I had the chopped beef with jalapeño sausage, beans and the corn as sides. The flavor and texture were excellent, with just the right amount of sauce. The beans were a mix of different flavors light baked with a hint of ranch style. The corn was delicious as well. We will be back!
