First time, I was excited to try a different place and I saw the great reviews. I have to say that I wasn't ready for the long wait time. Employees seem overwhelmed and lack customer service. The food takes way too long to be brought and they do skip your number. After almost an hour wait from when we arrived and placed our order we were glad our food was well worth the wait. Kiddos to the cooks because they did a great job and that will keepe returning. The tables were not cleaned right away, people waiting came to ask if they could take one of our tables and chairs so we agreed maybe they were understaffed for a busy good Friday. I do recommend this Cuban eatery if you have time to spare. Also....have them repeat your order or you will be missing food and then when you ask for the missing order they will take forever to figure out the cashier didn't charge you for that item. The Guava Lemonade was so refreshing!

This is one of our favorite spots to eat in San Antonio! We love the reina pepiada, the chicharrones, and the yucca fries. Today, we got almond milk cappuccinos, which had the perfect amount of foam, and we also tried the pernil arepa, so good!

The worst service.... 2 orders of Pancakes and French toast with bacon for all 3 orders.1 order of Pancakes came out first then 1 order of bacon. When I asked for my 2 other orders of bacon, he said he forgot to add to my order and said I would have to get back in line, that consisted of about 8 people waiting in-line.Who does that to a customer that has paid???The worst customer service.

Great sandwiches. My daughter and I ordered the Cuban and Barbacoa sandwiches and each ate a half. Fantastic sandwiches with a side of delicious soup and crispy French fries. Definitely will go again. Highly
I'm not one for self serve. Only the food was brought to our table. I went for my own coffee and water, twice and never asked about the food by restaurant staff.

I don’t know who “Bilia” is but I pray for her every night. Hands down the best food I’ve ever had, the flavors are perfectly balanced, the inside dining area is so cute and the workers are very kind. If any of you don’t like your food, address me personally and we can “talk” about it. :)

Flavor: AService: ATea: FSolo dining: AMy first time I got the Havana bowl. Second time I got the burger. Both were delicious. And I’m a hard critic of a burger. Treat yourself to this Latin American cuisine where the flavor is unique but not overpowering and the service is top-notch.

Bilia has quickly become one of my favorite local restaurants in San Antonio. The service is exceptional- every one I have encountered there is welcoming and helpful. I’ve taken several recommendations from the employees and I haven’t been disappointed. The breakfast is phenomenal, the coffee is delicious, and then my favorites: the havana bowl & the cuban sandwich. I’ve had the bowl with every meat option (beef is my favorite) and the cuban sandwich is soooo good. It’s sour from the pickles, very mustardy and meaty. It’s filling but not heavy. Just perfect. The fries are delicious, but I recommend trying the yucca fries instead. The aioli they come with is impeccable. Don’t even get me started on the maduros. I grew up in a Guatemalan household eating these for breakfast daily, they are seriously perfect every time. I stopped in today for a quick bite for lunch and there was no parking. It was PACKED! And I’m so happy to see that, I hope they stick around forever. If you’re thinking of trying this place, time to stop thinking and stop by. You’ll be glad you did. I have dreams of this food.
