Applebee's in Cedar Hill has the best Chef at that location. I love this place, I would ask the waitress if the good chef is here? They would let me know if he was there and that would help me to decide what I'm going to order. If the waitress tells me no, then I order something I know that you just can't mess up. When Robert is there, I have unlimited choices to pick from the menu.

We stopped here for lunch valentines day. Service was great, food was amazing, atmosphere was really terrific. Quiet enough to have a conversation, comfortable seating, attentive service. We have a new restaurant to frequent without the need endure the traffic of Mansfield. Way to go Applebee's.

Nice place enjoy it all dine in was perfect the waiter was a female hispanic very nice polite and got our order perfect. She has a mom with lots of tattoos. That's the only way I could describe her.I forget her name
My husband and I went here with another couple to eat dinner yesterday 2/2/2025. The server was acting strange. And when I handed her my credit card I knowtished her being really careless by stopping by a table, then going to the pos where it would of been ran, then walking across the restaurant behind the bar to chat with other coworker. Much later she knowtishes me watching her and walks back across the restaurant to the pos gets my recipts and brings them back to me to sign. Mind you I am literally watching her THE WHOLE TIME. I found it strange how long it took and her not having a sense of ugency with my card. I truly felt like something was off. So when we returned home I locked my card and went to bed. When I woke up this morning I had a email from my bank saying someone tried to use my locked card. It was attempted to be used at 1:35am at that Applebees. And obviously wasn't me. I am so thankful I locked the card last night. And it is a fact of the matter that that strange feeling I had was not off. Someone indeed wrote down my info off my card and try to use it.
My name is Eleanor and I visit Applebee's on January 29th 2025 the atmosphere there was very low key because there was barely anyone there the Host/Server was polite but we have to think about hygiene when we come to work and I hate to say it but the smell was terrible. The food was bad. The restrooms were nasty the doors were broken. My experience there was just terrible and I love Applebee's or I used to, y'all need to think twice before y'all serve people those those instant potatoes that you call garlic potatoes they were disgusting and you serve them with a ice cream scooper. Speak to your employees about the fact that you have to come to work clean and not have an odor to your clothing

Was very dissatisfied with the place in all. Food was not good. Ordered the baby y back ribs, they were over cooked and too crispy to chew, it came with fries and they were over fried, hard as rocks. Services was somewhat, but it could have been better. But happy at all with the overall experience.

The server lost my card. How does that even happen? First, I’ll give him credit for being honest with me and letting me know. I appreciate that part. But what exactly is the SOP for handling the customer’s card? You swipe, and bring it back with the receipt right? I never worked in a restaurant but I’m assuming that’s how it goes. I was dining by myself for a change. Just getting away from the usual. So I came here. It was about 11:30pm so The place was not full.and I was not a part of any group. He said he told the manager, who never came to my table to address it by the way, and I can call back tomorrow to see if they found it. This is really upsetting, and very disappointing. I mean, did he give it to the wrong customer? Or did he do the unthinkable and… no I won’t falsely accuse him. But how could he completely lose a card going from the table to swipe and back to the table??
So I’m going back there today to see if it’s been found yet. If not, I’m calling corporate.
