Babe's Chicken Dinner House

I would have given them five stars however, I'm very disappointed that I paid twenty dollars for a plate and did not ask for seconds on sides and was not allowed to bring my food home. I could see if I'd ordered an extra bowl of mashed potatoes or something but the fact that rather than putting policies in place, their policy is throw away and waste it rather than let someone take it home. I just cannot fathom the waste. I can totally understand if someone ask for extra and then tried to take it home. That would get expensive for the restaurant but you've already brought me the bowls. Why not let me check The Leftovers home?

Quality has just gone down over the years with this franchise. Got the catfish meal and those things were like 4 inches long, about 3 years ago they were 7-8 inches long. Enough with the bringing 1 side at a time. How do you expect 4 grown adults to share 100 grains of corn. Stop being cheap please just lost a customer indefinitely.

My daughters and I walked in about 20 minutes before close to pick up a to go order. My daughter's were having a hard night and asked if we could dine in. They were so kind and allowed us to be seated immediately. Lauren helped us and was just so kind to my kiddos. We ended up staying past closing time but they were still kind to us the entire time and did not make us feel rushed or like we were burdening them. We will definitely be back :-) oh and the place was so gorgeous with all of the Christmas decor.

We came from out of town and an AMAZING TIME!! Athena (sp?) was our server and she was so helpful and kind!! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND and will come again!!

Food is always great, they have made some changes since the last.time.i was there. We had 4 adults and the vegetable servings were atrocious. There was less than a serving in every bowl. I can understand the wasting food thought, but that should start on the second serving. We had to ask for 3 more servings to just get enough to get started. Had a relative in from Los Angeles and he was not impressed.

Quite a place - the interior and exterior decor is really something to see! The food and service are way on up there on the same scale as other Babe's we've enjoyed over the years. We strongly recommend this place for a private dinner or a family gathering. Enjoy❣️

Local spot exclusive for the locals!

Babe's advertises a "Vegetarian" dinner. The vegetarian dinner I received was lettuce salad, corn and mashed potatoes. (The green beans were cooked in bacon). That cost me $12.00. Please don't believe their "vegetarian" nonsense

I ordered takeout on today which I do pretty often. I love the food. But on today once inside I went to the counter to pick up my food. There was only one person there at the front, a young man. He told me what my total was I pulled out my card and proceeded to pay. He asked me “would you like to leave a tip?” I thought about it and said sure. He then asks “how much?” That instantly turned me off. Firstly I am ordering takeout the people in the back are the ones who prepared my food he has not done me a service. A tip is optional and most definitely should not be asked how much someone is going to tip. Although I did not have to I still left a tip but please teach the younger people a better way of providing customer service.
