Excellent food and service.

Don’t waste your money. It’s just GROSS! The queso is canned cheese. The cheese enchilada is made with velveeta. The rice is mush. The margaritas are disgusting. The beef and chicken has no seasoning whatsoever. Salt makes everything better, but not much!

Me and my mom went to cedar Hill and we wanted Mexican food for dinner and we went here and oh my God it feels like I'm in heaven the food is too good to be true and I had to say OMG every time it tasted good the beans and rice mixed together it's soooo good I wish I would give them 5555555 stars but I can't but you should try it you will not be disappointed😊🌯

Enjoyed the chilaquilies

The food was horrible and overpriced. I ordered the Tres amigos plate and wings. The wings were burnt, and the tacos were just meat, no cheese. Order a 16oz of sauce that tasted like just tomatoes, no onion, or any like that was in it. This food was not worth $40.00.

I had the Mexican Fahita Salad, which was huge and delicious. I picked up Carne Asada for my husband as he couldn't go with me. He said it was delicious. The service was attentive and accommodating. I'll go there again.

This can’t be authentic Mexican food. Been there twice, thought I’d give it a try again but it wasn’t good. Taste like Panchos buffet. I’m sure people who go there think it’s “Mexican” but nope, not close.

The classic breakfast plate is good. The pancakes, not so much. Good customer service and reasonable prices.

We've eaten here a few times. The food seems blah and overcooked. But it's a favorite for others. I'm Spanish,but this type is not for me. The queso is also bland. The margs are all sweet and sour, not much tequila. I'm sorry, but it's my opinion only!

Good standard tex-mex. Combination burritos are excellent. For the adventurous, ask for the Rodrigo's Revenge hot sauce -- it's avacado-based, so it starts out mild, then becomes hotter after you swallow.

Our family has been eating there for over 20 years.

Edit: We have now been a Plato Loco regular for over 30 years. Still great!

Most flavor I’ve ever tasted in a Texas Mexican restaurant !!! Fresh even a hour before close! So glad I gave this spot a chance. I had a sangria margarita! It was perfect. Chicken tamales with salsa Verda perfect!! Steak fajita taco PERFECT! The water was perfect lol very pleased and I’m picky. Service was friendly and patient! Bathrooms smelled amazing and was clean! My new favorite local spot! Prices PERFECT!!!

Have been here many times. This is an update to my 4 star review of before. Several visits ago I found a piece of plastic in my food here. The woman tried to say it was a piece of the fajita. It was clearly a piece of plastic. They did not charge me for that order and was very nice about it. So I said mistakes happen no big deal. The prices were good so they still got my four stars. Went here about a month ago and they had changed the prices for the same just OK food. You would think if you want to charge more you would give more! At those new prices and same just OK food I wont be back. We were a party of six too! Never again. I am about helping local owned business if they a worthy!

Fajitas were $20 for a single plate.Took my Grandkids in and Daughter in law and spent $100 for mostly child's plates. They went up on fajita prices apparently. Two single orders of fajitas were half the ticket.I wont be going back. After spending $100 with my card I struggled to find 25 cents for one little gum and the cashier reluctantly finally set the gum on the counter. Just wow!! We couldn't afford to tip the server because the food was overpriced.
