It’s hard to determine if they are open are not. Went today, well after opening time and sat at the drive thru- no one ever showed up. Doors were also locked no sign on the door or window. Second time this has happened! Won’t be a third.

0/10 The first time our food was given to us, it was obvious that it was not fresh after I had already told the young lady that I don't mind waiting on fresh food. She was kind at the front register, but I'm here for good food.
Stuffed crabs -mushy and greasy Battered fish -hard fried on outside/ undercooked and pink inside Hush puppies- crumbly Fried Shrimp- old/ dried out/ overcooked Mac and cheese- cold/ like it was poured out a bag French fries- cold/ hard/ greasy (twice dipped when I advised the first time food was not fresh)
I am highly disappointed and wasted my money. Food should've been made correctly the first time, and even after being kind and patient, it was still not right after second remake.

Food was very salty I couldn’t even enjoy it, my husband and I developed a headache hours later and had to throw the food out. It’s sad how this place just opened and the service is already horrible don’t eat here.
It might take a few minutes but it's always good. Friendly staff. The offer a senior discount on Wednesday & Sunday

I made the mistake of ordering drive thru after 9pm. As long as I waited in drive thru, i knew everything would be Hot & Fresh,
I was wrong, the fries,were old and cold, the shrimp was like rubber, and the chicken was so old it must have been cooked eight hours prior, I paid $13 to realize when I got home only the fish was hot,
Don’t go here at night, the young staff don’t care what they serve you, Best to go around lunch and make sure

Every time I've taken the time to leave the Austin area and drive 2 hours and get some Captain D's, one of my most favorite memories as a kid, it has failed me. The fish is not Cod, like it was in the 90s when Captain D's was amazing, it's Alaskan pollock and to be honest they're not the same, the owner is clearly cutting corners and should be reported to corporate which don't worry I will do because places where I'm from do not serve this garbage......

Food is generally ok. Portions can be fickle. My issue is SOME of the workers and the part they close the store after 7 in favor for the drive through.
When we asked the atitude of the worker wasnt cordial either. You want me to buy food from someone that talks to me like they are crazy? For me to put the food in my mouth? No thanks. That made me not want to eat here. Its not all the time but it is often enough.

I got food here on 9/4/25. I haven't eaten here in about a year, maybe a little over a year. But within that time, I don't know what they did to their fish but not only did it not taste like catfish but it was so nasty, that it tasted like fish out of a frozen tv dinner. I'm not sure if I'll be back to try again.
