Cotton Patch Cafe

My friends and I went to the Cotton patch in Cedar Hill several months ago after they were under new management and everything was really good. The service was excellent. Even the manager came by and talked to us. However, it was a different story today, December 31, 2025. We sat there for 35 minutes and no one came to take our order. We did get water. I saw the manager and went to talk to him to tell him how long we had been waiting. He finally got the ball rolling but it was too late for me and my friends. I probably will not go back for a long time until they get some waiters and waitresses and can get things moving faster. I don’t know if the problem was in the kitchen or the service. Perhaps things will improve eventually.

It was a great time we had two people at our table with birthdays and Monty song Happy Birthday to them.

Monty (the host) was so kind and very professional! He checked on my food every 7 minutes and got it to me as soon as it was prepared! I recommend this Cabbage Patch location to anyone who’s seeking delicious hot fresh meals at a reasonable price and great customer service! Will be back in JESUS’S NAME AMEN AND AMEN AGAIN‼️🙌🏽😇🫶🏼🙏🏼😊

Monty is outstanding! He’s not only friendly and upbeat but also shows the kind of professionalism and positive energy that inspires those around him. You can tell he takes pride in making every guest feel welcome. Honestly, he has all the qualities of a strong team lead—Cotton Patch is lucky to have him!!

Cotton patch cedar hill has the best staff! Monty was so personable and friendly. Alyssa was our server and so attentive! The food was delicious and I enjoyed a new chicken avocado sandwich. (Not pictured because I inhaled it) Ofc we finished this meal with a dr. Pepper cake!
