This place has been the go to donut shop. Since I was a little girl my family has also had the best experience here. The owners are so welcoming ! And the donuts are made FRESH Everyday ! Same as the coffee made fresh everyday ! And they do the cutest holiday donuts ! Definitely worth it !

Decided to try Dixie Donuts today and was sadly disappointed with my experience. They do offer a pretty decent assortment of the usual staples and specialty. The donuts themselves: gave the taste and texture of day-old donuts. They were cold and tougher than one would expect them to be. I wouldn't be surprised if they took yesterday's leftover lot and rolled it out to clear space before the holiday. Customer service was by far the most disappointing aspect of this visit as it was below satisfactory. That alone can make or break the public's impression of a business, And I wouldn't say that this is reflective of everyone there. Patrons that were receiving service from another lady were met with warmth. The person that I ordered from might not have been having a good morning because they were certainly on the rude end. I've seen better service from donut shops nearby that are low on supply and staff. There are a lot of places to consider with 5 miles of this location. Overall I regret taking a chance on Dixie Donuts instead of visiting a shop that I know for certain could lay out a better experience than the one I had today.

Went in on a Monday at 7:15 AM order two chocolate donuts and two pig in the blankets; donuts were old, dry and nasty. The pig in the blankets were soggy on the bottom, cold (after coming out of the microwave) and tasteless.

I have eaten donuts from here since the early 80s. They are literally the ONLY donuts that will do. The best cake donuts and round rainbow sprinkles. I have yet to find another donut shop that even comes close. I always stop in if I am back in DFW for a day or 2. Super nice staff.
