Firehouse Subs Cedar Hill

I stopped in this location and was greeted with a warm “Welcome to Firehouse Subs!” The crew was happy to serve and gave me a few options based on customer popularity and their own personal preference. I chose the turkey, bacon and cheese sub and added jalapeño. It may have been the best sub that I’ve ever had. The manager made the sandwich himself so that may have raised the bar but either way, the sandwich was FIRE 🔥
I will be returning. Great job Cedar Hill

DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY!!!
This is the NASTIEST place I've ever been to EVER!! The floors were so sticky, it looked and FELT like they were not mopped in MONTHS!! I ordered a custom sandwich, and requested ingredients were missing and bread NOT toasted. I can tell that ALL of the workers are LAZY because the place was a MESS and the sandwich not properly made. DO NOT COME HERE, NEED BETTER MANAGEMENT AND HARD WORKING EMPLOYEES!! LAZY LAZY LAZY!!! DISGUSTING!!!

The online portal was offline most the lunch window and I ordered at noon to only receive my Paid order until 55 minutes later. Chaos is Always at this location. Where is the management team or franchise owner. This is Absolutely Ridiculous.

Absolutely disgusting.

I picked up takeout and poured myself a drink from the self-serve station—only to find a metal screw at the bottom of my cup. A screw. In the drink. I was horrified. How does something like that even end up in a beverage unless the machine is falling apart or no one is paying attention to basic hygiene?

Since I took my food to go, I didn’t even realize until I got home. At that point, what am I supposed to do—drive all the way back just to show someone the mystery hardware in my cup? Luckily, my drink and the cup were clear or else I never would have known of the rusted screw in my beverage, and could have easily chocked on it.

This was a serious health and safety concern, not just a gross mistake. I seriously hope someone inspects that drink station—because something is clearly not right.

This location just seemed completely discombobulated. Myself and another lady were picking up catering orders and the team just seemed lost and confused, they were handing us other peoples orders despite us saying the name on our orders multiple times. Then there was a lot of “oh wait” I forgot your chips. “Oh wait” I forgot your tea. Hopefully if I ever order her again it’s a better experience.

The restaurant was unkept and not well stocked. The drink station was low in stock and messy, items were broken, and boxes were laying around. The staff was nice but not overly helpful or friendly. They were wandering around behind the counter and talking with each other. When we did need additional items for our meal, it took a minute to get their attention to help. The restroom was basic clean but not tidy. I tried responding to the survey request from Firehouse that was emailed to me, but there was no way to actually submit feedback.

I love Firehouse and I don’t get to eat it often because we don’t have one nearby so my family was very excited to see one passing through. Sadly this Firehouse lacked. While the food was good, the service was subpar. The young lady was sweet but the guys were a little juvenile. The mayo packets tasted a little old. The drink counter was dirty and stuff was all over the floor. Restaurants are successful when it’s apparent that the place is cared for. I probably won’t be coming back to this one.

Horrible service…went in and waited for 10mins with no one in line. No one said anything to us and when I asked are y’all taking orders they then answered we are behind. HORRIBLE

The service at this location was great! The Tuna Sandwich was blah. I asked for extra onion and got a few. This is a pic of the Tuna Sandwich Fully Dressed.
