Summer Tings

Great American Cookies has been my favorite cookie place since I was a child. Every time I visit, I order a dozen cookies, including sugar, double fudge chocolate, strawberry, and cookies and cream cookies. My teenage son and I can’t resist their slushies on the way home. I’m always in this area for shopping and, of course, finding summer clothes. Let’s not forget their delicious cookie cakes. You can even choose sugar cookie for the cake flavoring. Since there’s a Foot Locker in Tarrant County, I usually make a stop here last.

The Manager there is the very very best person. She has 10+ customer service skills. She takes the time in helping you with ideas choosing the cookies/cookie cake. She never ever rushes you on what to chose. The CEO needs to really reach out to her and give a big money bonus.

my go to place when I'm feeling good!

Rude! No welcome and ignores customers. Never got to order and walked out. A simple I’ll be right with you goes along way, will look you dead in your eyes and move on to the next person.

Eileen was a horrible worker. When I told her I didn’t want to redeem my points she redeemed them anyways. It took me a while to get my points and now I have to start all over.Hire better better listeners! Steer away from this location

Nice location for cookies located in Uptown shopping center in Cedar Hill. Friendly staff! The crunchy ice & Sugar Double Doozie is my favorite!

I recently went to this establishment and I was appalled by the Oder of mildew and old food. There were gnats flying everywhere and the customer service was not the best experience. The manager must not have good health inspections because I was disgusted seeing gnats on cookies . I couldn’t even get myself to order anything due to the smell and condition of the store. I’m questioning reporting this store, I talked to a worker and they went into detail about how the manager Jenifer treats them unfairly and the condition of the store (mildew, odor, blood on the walls , etc.) .

Paid this location a visit today with my family. While we was initially excited to get our hands on a dozen of Great American Cookies, that quickly changed after seeing a group of gnats flying in the glass display where the cookies are posted. We even witnessed multiple gnats on a few cookies. BE AWARE!

If you're ever in Cedar Hill and craving something sweet, let me direct you to a gem of a place – Great American Cookies. Not only are their chocolate chip cookies the perfect balance of chewy and chocolatey, making every morsel an indulgence, but the ambiance and staff add a whole other layer of joy to the experience.

On a particularly sunny afternoon, we visited the store as part of a humorous consequence of my brother Mitch's lost bet. Decked out in the silliest Donald Duck costume imaginable – complete with a fluffy white tail that waddled when he walked, yellow tights, oversized webbed feet, and a vibrant sailor shirt – Mitch was the embodiment of fun and embarrassment rolled into one. The staff immediately caught onto our playful vibe, and with the kind of spirit you'd hope to encounter in every store, they joined in on the antics making sure that Mitch's lost bet was enjoyed by everyone. They not only praised his courage but also turned the visit into an event, making him the star of the show. With each giggle and snicker from the staff and customers, Mitch's cheeks would bloom with a shade of red, rivaling the ripest of cherries.

It was a sight to behold as he waddled around, picking up cookies while quacking up laughter with every step. It was the kind of lighthearted fun that turns a simple cookie run into a story we'll be telling for years. The staff made sure that Mitch's dare was as memorable as the delightful taste of their cookies. Their ability to infuse such a genuine sense of community and cheer into their service is precisely why Great American Cookies in Cedar Hill gets a full five-star rating from me. Delicious treats served with a side of unforgettable memories? Now that's a winning combination.

They suggested that Mitch visit other stores and teased him about passing out samples to draw in others into the store as well as add embarrassment to Mitch! I hope they to invite Mitch back!
