Even though the name has changed to Crafty Crab🤣 the food was amazing, the drinks were on point and since it was Mother’s Day it was a bit crowded and they were under-staffed the staff did an awesome job and I would recommend my friends and family to go and check them out!
This is not a Joe's Crab Shack anymore. It is a place called Crafty Crab in the same building.
I didn't know that Joe's in Cedar Hill did not accept our Landry's rewards. I was in Fort Worth and it was accept. The waiter stated it is only accept in Mesquite TX, I felt some kind of way about that statement
Trey was an exceptional waitress. She was kind courteous and on point as was our meal!!! Definitely the best out eat experience we have had in a long time.
Food was great, staff wonderful but prices ridiculously expensive. Paid an extra $22 for crab legs to be added to a meal that was already $20 and just got a tiny little crab leg cluster...so wound up costing $almost $45 for 1 person...won't be back just due to the extreme high pricing.
I have a severe dairy allergy and the staff made sure everything I was served was safe. It took a few trips to ask the chef questions, but they took great care of me and our table. Cannot thank them enough for making sure I was safe and we all had a great meal/time!
Food quality is not like it used to be. Place looks run down.
Customer services was amazing ?The appetizer great ball of fire were amazing but when I got my order of daddy feast crab bucket it was just horrible . The texture and smell of crab was just bad and slimy . Loss my appetite ?
The food and drinks were very good. The service was excellent. We will return.
Customer service was really good. I was acknowledged and seated quickly. Arnold Palmer was good. Server kept my glass filled. Appetizer was brought out quickly. The fries were good. The crab bites were a miss. The batter was tasty but the consistency of the inside was off. Almost the consistency of tuna salad. The fish and chips weren't much better. No flavor and overcooked. The server noticed I wasn't eating and replaced my order with the coconut shrimp. I ate one and boxed up the rest. I left my server a nice tip and left. I normally order crab and it's really good. This meal was underwhelming.

First time at Joe's, awesome service from Selena and Manager Shelly. While my Cajun Steam pot was delicious, my wife's Crab bucket came out with a slimy and bitter taste.I don't recommend the lobster bisque,I REALLY recommend the Great Balls of Fire !
Great staff. Grilled and boiled options, not just fried. Good side options.
Great food even better service, highly recommend the great balls of fire as an appetizer. We shared the crab daddy feast with sunset fire and oldbay it gives the crab a good mix of salty and spice. And the category 5 drinks are on pointe, really hope they do not close this location like they have the others we drive a good distance to go here. A big shout out to Julie she's a very good waitress and bar tender.
Good crab legs and cocktails. Service was good.
I was so disappointed I went to eat with family. We started off with appetizers. I ordered spinach dip and I sent it back and ordered crab dip it was burned and was not good either. The drink I ordered was good at first so I ordered it a second time and it was watered down and not mixed well. The food I ordered which was shrimp and fish did not have a taste or season.
