Absolutely, positively, loved loved loved the food and service. The music was awesome and the only thing I would ask for is a larger parking area. Outstanding...especially the mac and cheese and the potato salad. Oh and I can't forget about the, I believe you call them rib tips and the bbq sauce I dreamed about it was sooooo good. Thank you

Omg! I’ve been sleeping on this restaurant. Where do I start? First off the sandwiches are huge. They put enough meat for two sandwiches the meat is sooooo good. I mean you can’t go wrong when it comes to choosing what kind of meat to get. And then there’s the sides and the banana pudding 😋 God Lawd. And last but not least the prices are very reasonable. My family and I enjoyed everything that we ordered. Phat Girlz, will definitely be our bbq go to spot.

Are there more than 5 stars? Because the way Phat Girlz showed up to save my Memorial gathering and feed 70+ people AMAZING food deserves way more stars. Big party planned and I decided on Thursday that I wasn't cooking. A call and email exchange later and Mimi and Lay-Loh agreed to cater my party on their day off on Sunday for the party that day. The food was not only delicious (ya'll, that brisket tho), it was done on time, neatly packaged and boxed, exactly what I ordered, rib tips thrown in by surprise which made me even happier and a low stress Memorial Day celebration was had by all. We fed all those people and had some leftovers, the chicken was smoked to perfection, ribs tender, brisket so moist and overall, so grateful they made it all possible. Walk, don't run to PHAT GIRLZ. Whether it's a meat plate or a full spread, they'll have you covered, full, satisfied AND all done with a smile and professionalism that's the cherry on top.

I visited Phat Girlz today for the first time. I had been hearing good things about it but never had the chance to visit until today. I ordered the 2 meat plate with rib tips, chopped brisket, baked beans, and potato salad. I was a little disappointed at first with seeing the baked beans bc I thought they were the traditional baked beans I'm used to. The taste threw all my disappointment out of the door. Everything was tasty. I loved the potato salad. It tastes better than what my mom makes. For me to say that, it has to be damn good bc my mom makes the best potato salad. I was so impressed with the food that I'm going back tomorrow!

They're irritated when customers ask questions about the menu, or take too long to decide what you want, or ask them to repeat what they said although their music blasting. And the food is average. There is a much better BBQ place right around corner with courteous service & great food.

Phat Girlz BBQ is hands down the best barbecue I’ve had to date. I ordered the two-meat plate with chopped brisket and sausage links, paired with mac & cheese and potato salad. We also grabbed the Big Girl Sandwich and a cookie pudding for dessert. Every single bite was absolute perfection.
The brisket was tender and flavorful, the sausage had just the right amount of kick, and that potato salad and mac-n-cheese instantly took me back to my grandmother’s kitchen. Creamy, seasoned to perfection. It tasted like it was made with love and tradition. The cookie pudding was just as incredible.
The food was so amazing, I picked up the phone and called the owner on the spot. I had to give her her flowers because this experience truly blew my mind. You know how you’re always searching for that perfect BBQ spot? Well, this is it.
I didn’t catch the owner’s name, but I want her, her daughter, and her family to know they are a blessing to the community. I’m praying for their business to grow and flourish. The love they put into their food is felt in every bite, and they’ve definitely gained a forever customer in me.
If you’re anywhere near Phat Girlz BBQ….do yourself a favor RUN, DON’T WALK! You won’t regret it.

Ohhhh my goodness…the food is absolutely delicious! I had the brisket sandwich with 2 sides (potato salad & green beans). I usually do not order anyone’s potato salad; however, this place made me smile and humming sounds while I was eating. Now that’s good eating for me!!! A must try! Unfortunately, I ate my food up and forgot to take a picture. 🤦🏽♀️
