I had a birthday dinner here and the waiter was horrible she messed almost everyone from my party food up. I also left a special card that I had all my love ones sign for my birthday. I called this place and wrote them as well no answer until today 12/27 two weeks later for them to say they tossed my stuff in the trash. I am very upset I didn’t want to make the drive due to that I didn’t stay in the area lucky I didn’t because they didn’t have it. I am very upset. Customer service is trash.

Went in on a Wednesday evening during the Christmas shopping season. Traffic was heavy to get there and parking is hard to find. However the restaurant staff were very welcoming and friendly. Alcoholic drinks were creative with numerous options. Bartender and manager discussed with me my preferences on alcohol and made a gin drink that was perfect! AND most importantly, the restaurant was able to cater to my gluten free restrictions and took them seriously sending over the manager. Being gluten free did of course limit my options. The only criticism is that the food was a bit greasy. My friend got the oxtails and felt like it had too much oil in/on it. My salmon and potatoes were tasty, perhaps a bit heavy but I just packed up the rest and took them home. I would recommend!!!

Went for my cousin's birthday the atmosphere was nice. The service was good, took longer than normal to receive our food and checks. The restaurant was not packed with people. The food was ok depending on what you got. The seating was uncomfortable if you sat in the booth. No combination meals everything was al cart. The prices were a bit pricey. They played great music.

my mom is older and they were not helpful what so ever. She waited 30 minutes with no words from the servers about her order. For a place you'd come in and spend $100+, the service should be better, you'd think???

My family and I love Soul Shack! Hands down the BEST atmosphere, food, service, music and parking located in the southwest suburbs. This is an awesome team of professionals. Our go to for fine dining.

Did a take out order my lamb chops were undercooked and my grits weren’t cooked at all !!! Terrible food 👎🏾 not worth the money or time I had to wait for it. My friends jerk chicken was just okay yams from a can Mac and cheese was dry and nasty sweet potato cornbread was the only edible thing on my plate and it was just okay

It was my friends and I first visit to this establishment, we drove 2.5 hours. The ambiance was lovely and the staff were friendly. However, I ordered wings and waffles, never was served the waffles; my order was removed from the bill. My friend ordered oxtail, they were too tough to eat, so they took them home to cook some more. My other friend ordered the stuff chicken which was seasoned good, but the middle was cold. We don't return food for no reason iykyk. So, they waited to heat it up when they got home. The yams, greens, black eyed peas, and cornbread tasted good. Hopefully, it was just an off day, and corrections are made. I pray this establishment will continue to grow and be a prosperous business.

I ordered through Uber eats the smothered chicken today. And was highly disappointed. The chicken was fried with just some chicken gravy poured over it. Not smothered. The Mac and cheese was dry. Will not be eating here again. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!
