Recommend Soulman’s BBQ. There are a delicious variety of meats and sides. Ordered a Soulman’s bowl and a one-meat plate. The staff were very nice, serving cafeteria style. The atmosphere was a typical older bbq restaurant style.

Soulmans is very hit and miss at each location. Unfortunately more miss. The Van and Red Oak locations are the best. My main complaint is never the food quality because it’s actually okay. But the inconsistent meat servings. I’ve noticed that the older the meat cutter the less meat you get. Now I understand why most bbq joints use a scale. Please stop saying that “we’re not stingy with our meats!” YES YOU ARE! This 2 meat plate was $30

First visit to Soulman's Barbecue in Cedar Hill and I'll be back! Got takeout, but the indoor dining area looked nice. Employees were very nice and friendly. The barbecue and baked potato plate was great!

Fantastic bbq!!!! Pitmaster Bobby turns out the best ribs that I have tasted. I give his ribs a 10 on a scale of 1 to 5. If you are ever in Cedar Hill, Texas, stop in and enjoy some fine meats.
Had lunch at this location today Bobby the manager and his team gave great service. They were friendly, recommended great options and the store was nice and clean. The buttermilk pie was delicious. Would definitely be back.

I purchased sliced beef and the meat texture is rubbery with no flavor. I don't think the meat was fresh. It tastes stale or like it was preheated frommthr day before.

This location is so amazing. Very friendly and outgoing. Every time I come they greet you as you walk through the doors. The portion of is very worth the price and the meat so so tender.

I did an online order. I had to pull up my order confirmation on my phone and confirm that my order was correct. I got to my car and banana pudding was not in the bag. I went in and told them but I had to go all the way back out the car to get the bag. I guess they thiugh i was lying about the banana pudding. The meat on the sandwich was cold but the sides were good. I will eat it again but maybe a different location or maybe eating it there will be better.
