Theee best customer service experience!!! I visited on 4/9/24 for lunch. Upon entry, I was greeted warmly. The staff engaged me in conversation while ordering and offered suggestions on what to order. I was also surprised by the teacher discount! It was a refreshing experience and greatly appreciated! Kudos!! Plus my double barrel potato was Amazinggggggg!!!
Beyond the young lady that sits at the register with the long nails on her phone.... this was a wonderful BBQ place that i will go to in the future. I wish the chicken had more char on it but other than that. Awesome!

The two guys serving the food gave great customer service very upbeat. The food was good. They need a better cashier because the young lady at the counter acted like she hated her job and did not want to be there she gave off very negative vibes.

Had the St. Louis ribs and it was not good! They need to work on wearing gloves while serving customers. It was my first and last dining. I will not be returning.

I ordered delivery through the soul mans app. I ordered the bowl with a side of mac and cheese. On a I get my order I check and of course it’s not right I get sides of green beans and mashed potatoes. I call in and I of course get a young black girl to answer that gives me attitude. I ask to speak to a manager and this girl is so dumb she thinks I’m on hold but I hear what she tells the manager which is a huge lie so the manager gets on the phone (says he’s the owner and of course also black) and begins to blame me for the issue. How the hell do you blame the customer dude?!? I was told I would get a refund and of course like my order and the people I spoke to, I was lied to. I will never ever ever come here again. I still want my money back too and I may just stop in and ask the pos manager for it face to face since he copped such a cry baby hissy fit. F this place. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.
The food is good and the restaurant is clean. However, the staff made my visit unpleasant. The gentleman working the meat counter was very friendly and helpful but most of the other staff are young women who do not seem to like their job. I get it, I've worked food service and it sucks, but poor service is not the answer.
The food is delicious, I love the bbq sauce! The workers were so on point and friendly.. plus free ice cream for dessert ?

The food is always great but tonight the service was absolute trash called in my order 30 minutes before I arrived, they still had not made it. The place was absolutely dead. I dont understand why they waited until I showed up to make my order.

The people were great and had my order fixed fast, the brisket was dry , ribs were ok , pulled pork was dry almost like straw the Mac was cheesy but needed a better flavor , potatoe salad was cold but was missing something.. haven’t tried the pinto beans but the green beans were ok, the pecan pie was atrocious could t tell if it was store bought or just made by a person who can’t cook also got the banana pudding and haven’t eaten it yet kinda scared but I will say I’ll try again just won’t spend as much
