We love Granny’s! We moved here about a month ago and Granny’s was one of the first local places we tried. We grabbed a couple cinnamon rolls and a slice of the peanut butter cake, and it was truly one of the best slices I’ve ever had!
So good that I asked my husband to order a full cake for my birthday! He did, and that was even better!
We love Granny’s and can’t wait to try our next cake!

Granny’s Bakery is such a treasure to our town. I love this little store, love the owner, and the wonderful staff! They truly make you feel like family. Granny’s does an amazing job of supporting the community and local bakers, and she brings so much joy through her classes, parties, and events. She is genuinely a blessing to our community. Everything in this bakery is absolutely delicious, every single time. We love treating ourselves and sharing Granny’s treats with friends (and our dog) because everything is made with so much care and love. We also love that we can get gluten free, egg free, and/or sugar free treats for our friends and family from Blue Engine Bakeshop here!! 🤗💖

Unfortunately I have to agree with the less complimentary reviews. I was visiting Celina for the first time on business and decided to check out the old town before heading out. A good bakery is one of my favorite simple pleasures. Went in to get some muffins to take home. Was planning on maybe some pie, too, but honestly nothing looked great. Muffins were dry and tough and had that artificial flavor my teen compared to “no better than grocery store flavor.” You can’t be bakery called Granny’s in a cute historic square and serve muffins (and i suspect other pastries) like this. Cute place, friendly service—food—so disappointing.

We used it to make paninis and breakfast sandwiches… *chefs kiss* Can’t wait to go back and try more, and to check out one of their fun classes!

A charming bakery in Celina offers a wide variety of delicious treats. We usually pick up their sourdough bread and sweet pastries as gifts, and they never disappoint. I haven’t attended any myself, but I’ve learned they also offer a range of baking classes throughout the year at very reasonable prices.

Mikala (the owner), Shekinah, and Eric, made our experience very pleasant… Mikala was awesome. She was patient, incredibly knowledgeable, funny and knew how to put a class of non/amateur bakers at ease. FYI: You’re decorating a whole cake that you take with you! My family ate the cake at my birthday dinner a couple of hours later…it was DELICIOUS! 💯 If you’re looking for an interesting, hands-on, unique experience for your birthday…Granny’s Bakery is a fantastic option! Every food item I have purchased has been delicious - breads, cookies, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls. My family loves the goodies we have tried. My last purchase was a custom cupcake order for Halloween-the cupcakes were a huge hit!

Granny’s is a wonderful bakery with so many options that every person in your family can enjoy! Just off the square in Celina, it’s a perfect spot to walk to while you’re out and about downtown. I would absolutely recommend her custom cakes/desserts as well, Mikala is extremely talented!!
