I want this place to be a continued success BUT my first impression is as follows: Bread: wonderful Shortbread cookies with intricate icing: shortbread was dry and icing was hard like candy Chocolate chip cookie sandwich: sweet but yummy Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting: cake was dry, frosting yummy Cupcakes assorted: dry like cornmeal, density was fine just SO dry. Service: excellent Atmosphere: super cute and fun.

Calling all bread lovers!! I am not kidding when I say that Granny's is hands down the best bakery I've ever eaten at. Even better the entire staff is lovely and provide fantastic service. Everyone is super knowledgeable and the kindest souls you'll ever meet.

Adorable place with a real full size VW Bug inside the shop. Chocolate cupcake was moist and fresh although the chocolate flavor was a little weak. Service was exceptional.

Had the pecan cinnamon roll and took home the raspberry white chocolate cupcake with buttercream frosting… amazing! Would love to come back and visit for a glass of wine, cute place and great ambiance central to the Celina square!

Carrot cake was not good. More like a spice cake. No carrot pieces, nuts, or anything usually found in carrot cakes Very dense and cream cheese frosting was tasteless.

This little shop is adorable! The cashier was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the cake and cupcakes were less than stellar. They were both dry; the icing wasn’t any better. I was expecting homemade/made from scratch, but I’ve honestly had better desserts from Kroger. The bakery itself is adorable inside. As a cupcake connoisseur, I wanted so badly to love this place. I love supporting local businesses, but was not impressed with the quality.

Carrot cake was no better than a grocery store. Didn't see any carrot pieces in the cake, loads of icing with not enough cream cheese flavor.

For starters, I feel like it’s getting increasingly hard to find small mom and pop bakeries like this one. They have to compete against large chains like 85° bakery , Grocery store brands , Crumbl cookies , Nothing Bundt cakes . And more.I use the two good to go in order to try to find new places in the area that I’m willing to drive to. I enjoy the surprise of getting different items I may not have tried otherwise, and exploring new local businesses I Tried this place out with my little siblings. They loved it and it was worth a drive from Frisco. Baked goods were delicious and also got some homemade croutons. The guy behind the counter was really nice and was quick to prepare our bag. Anyone looking to try something new I would highly recommend this bakery

The best bakery around. Everything from the service to the quality of the baked goods is top-notch. And the owners are true hometown servants. You don’t have to leave town for your sweets and breads, shop local!

I want to start by saying I'm not particularly partial to sweets. I find most cakes and pies to be soooooo sugary they are barely edible. I don't consider my palate erudite or anything, just not inclined toward sweets. Having said that, I have yet to eat anything from Granny's I wouldn't consider delicious! The cakes are moist and flavorful, cookies soft and delectable, and you absolutely must try the cake balls! It doesn't stop there - the bread is out of this world. I regularly buy loaves of various breads and find myself just eating it straight. Soooooo good. They also have a breakfast sandwich that can change your religion. I can't say enough about this absolutely wonderful bakery. They are literally one of the best things downtown Celina has going!
