Once when they weren’t interested in the money and excelled in tasty quality they were great. But the ribs were full of gristle and not much meat. But the flavor was great! Cole slaw and potato salads meh. Not much here.

Good food and a nice breakfast spot! Came for breakfast and had the pancakes and breakfast tacos—both were delicious. The lemonade was really refreshing too. Sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere.

People are raving about this place but the food just isn't great for Texas BBQ. I swear they use liquid smoke and not real smoke. The facility and atmosphere are really good but it should be about the food first. I'll go hand out, but not going to get the best BBQ.

Absolute best BBQ I've had! They must have been on point today. Brisket was tender, moist and flavorful. Ribs had amazing flavor and fell off the bone. The green beans were to die for. The pineapple slaw was amazing and unique. Sweet pickles were great. I have had Hutchins, Terry Black's, Salt Lick, and this was better than the rest. Great job Tender BBQ!

The Frisco location is definitely better. When we walked in there was one girl behind the counter struggling with taking someone’s Togo order then noticed 3 employees standing around talking. Just as I was about to walk out, the man told the girl “do you want to go take their order?” It’s clear that they serve their community but are a little opposed to outsiders coming in for the quick bite. The sweet potato was excellent! Got it all the way with turkey, no complaints there. The Beans however tasted like ranch style beans right out of the can, nothing like what they taste like in Frisco.. My kid ordered a pulled pork sandwich that had large pieces of fatty bark in it. The gentleman did offer us a refund which I appreciated, even after I had already demolished the sandwich. I didn’t accept the refund as I had already eaten the sandwich but was grateful. The ribs seemed to be over cooked and were shredding apart, I prefer a rib with less bark and more chew. I want to fight it off the bone, I feel like they lose flavor when they get beyond moist. The ribs were lacking and the pork sandwich and the beans. I’ll definitely stick to Frisco location! Also, missed getting the chips and bbq sauce

The food got 4 stars based on the jalapeño sausage.....it had a very grainy texture to it. Probably one of the worst jalapeño sausages around. Will definitely never buy it again from here. The turkey was great, and the Dino Rib was awesome. The baked potato is decent ordered it loaded but no sour cream or bacon bits were on it. Cheese and chives only.... that's not loaded based on the industry term if loaded. Overall very very pricey......I have had better at better prices. Not my first choice. It's local....and convenient to me....Service is always outstanding.
