This was a save run. Drove to the two place in San Augustine at 7:30 and neither was open... Google took me here and im glad I found this place. Kolaches were good for once in the area. I was alittle disappointed by the donut selection. It was a big amount of a small selection. The people there were really nice.

This place used to be so good and now the quality and the service has really gone downhill past couple years. Really ever since covid it's like nobody cares about the quality of the food I ordered six kolaches every single one of them were not soft. They were hard crispy overcooked The donut holes were like maybe half glazed if that just fried pieces of dough and they also charged me over a dollar to use my debit card. Place was kind of grungy dirty

Never did try a donut during our 3 day visit, but really enjoyed the croissant breakfast sandwiches and kolaches. Small parking lot that can be a challenge when the drive thru line is long. We parked at next door establishment and walked over for our 2nd visit - wasn't going to miss a chance at a kolache! Both service and food are good; give them a try and support this local business!
