The food was excellent. Best Mexican I've had on the Island by far. It's a sit down restaurant inside of a market which is a little funky but service was good. I'd definitely come back. Prices were very reasonable !

This is a great place. The tables are smack dab in the middle of a grocery market. The food was really good. Guacamole fresh, corn tamale was outstanding. The servers were very nice. This is a place that you can tell has regulars and I will definitely be one. If you want fancy, move on, but if you like authentic vibe and good food this is it.

We had breakfast here while on vacation in Galveston. Great place for hole in the wall, genuinely authentic Mexican dishes. We had breakfast tacos that were spot on, and both the salsa roja and salsa verde were tasty. The verde is nicely spicy as well.

Let's start with we're from Dallas. Came here based on ratings and price. First off, the vents above you leak and drip, either on the floor next to you when splashes on your leg or ON YOUR TABLE and splashes on your food/face. Next we were NOT offered or served salsa, but everyone that came in after we got our food was. For that reason alone, they lost 2 stars. The bathroom is so discussing I wouldn't even touch anything, another star and the last star is because the food was just bland. Basic to be exact, no flavor.
