Country Cousins Barbeque

Very nice place! We've come here a couple times now. Atmosphere and decor is nice (wish the booths were a little bit bigger). The food is pretty good. I don't like that fries don't automatically come with the sandwiches but they automatically come with steak/chick fingers. I feel like they should come with the sandwiches too instead of having to pay extra for them. The sandwiches could use a little more sauce too. But that brisket is SOOO TENDER!! And we loved the pickles!

Friday Fish Specials! Fish melted in my mouth...it was thick and moist, the breading was light and not greasy at all! Wish I got more than 2 pieces...French fries were perfect too. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. Not too long a wait for food. It really is country, hometown feel.

Great food and always service with a smile! Absolutely love their baked potatoes with all the fixings topped with sliced beef. Each one is enough for 2 meals.

Wanted to like this place. Bbq is dry...like super dry..even the ribs and not super flavorful. Sides are fresh..potatoe salad and Cole slaw is good. Staff are nice and it's really clean.

Got the brisket plate with 1/4 lean and 1/4 moist…this is the most tender brisket ever, would definitely come here again. And the potato salad and coleslaw is on point, and the blackberry cobbler is delicious!!!! And not to mention someone brought me my food . Definitely a place to checkout if you’re on the way to Dallas !!!

The food was AMAZING!!! I highly suggest the baked potato and the chicken fried steak sandwich with the potato salad too ! If you leave here hungry, it's your fault !

I had the bbq potato and it was like soup. Had to dig to find the potato! I may try this place one more time, just won’t order the bbq potato.

Comfy family environment, great food, great staff, conveniently located.

This place is definitely worth the stop.
I have to admit I was sceptical being right off the hwy on both sides but quickly changed my mind when I walked in. We decided to try the BBQ and was met by the most friendly and helpful people. I was told to try the very reasonably priced smoked turkey breast, and got the brisket too.
WOW!! I was surprised and this is the reason for the awesome review...

This place is great BBQ. Brisket 8- sausage 6- sauce 10 - ribs 8. Def worth stopping at. BBQ is way better than woodys and a step better than bucees.
