Small place with big flavors. We came for lunch and were blown away by the homemade, excellent dishes at a exceedingly reasonable prices. Service is as expected for a minimum personnel operation.

My husband and I stopped here with our one year old for lunch when we were passing through. We will make an effort to come back! I eat a lot of guacamole and this is my favorite. I also got the enchilada plate and loved every bite. We are big fans of this place!

Kid-friendliness: Had high chairs available and a few kids menu items.

A lovely little gem in Centerville!! Really delish recipes!! Small place, but great dishes and the coffee is good, too. We had egg dishes which were delish. Sauce and cheese were especially memorable. We will be making this our usual stop on our travels. Friendly staff!!

Parking: Park to the west in what looks like church parking as there are just a few spaces directly in front.

Best Mexican food we have ever had! Everything seemed homemade. We are a family of 5 and everyone agreed this was delicious! Portions were great size, wait staff was on top of everything and our order came out perfectly.

I highly recommend the Tampequena. This restaurant has delicious food. Their green sauce is awesome and their meat super flavorful. They have homemade chips, sauces, and they are delicious. Their beef enchiladas have shredded stewed or roasted beef in them. They're super tender. The flavor here is unique and hard to beat.

Food is fresh and made from scratch. Salsa is exceptional, obviously homemade. Quality of food warrants the price. One thing that keeps from a better ranking is they charge for water. That I don't get.

Food: very poor quality, lack of seasoning and flavor, flour tortillas were translucent, and flat, beef fajitas were not tasty at all, the temperature was warm not hot, the Enchiladas had no flavor, temperature was not hot, the beans were dry and burnt, the rice had no flavor and only one pea in it. Server/cashier was not hospitalable, courteous or friendly. The total she gave us was an even amount which was not. The prices are too high for the quality of the products served. We will never come back here again.
