Really great food for a very reasonable price. The queso is so good, the chunky guacamole is to die for!! Service is always fantastic, my husband asks a million questions at times, so it is great to have people happy to reply and converse with. It is such a nice, little place to eat. Enchiladas taste more authentic then any other ones I have had around the area. I love authentic mexican food rather then TexMex, so this place definitely hits the spot. Needless to say....definitely stop by.?

This is a very small Mexican restaurant on the square in downtown Centervile. We recently purchased some property in Centerville and often find ourselves passing by (hungry) on the way to that property on a Friday evening. We love stopping in locally owned, small "hole-in-the-wall" type restaurants. We were not disappointed that we chose to stop. We thought the food was quite good and the salsa was particularly to our liking - fresh, a bit chunky with some kick! The service was excellent as well - we were quickly seated with drinks and chips / salsa served. The meal came out quickly as well. All in all - a great little stop if you are in the area (or nearby!!)

Ate here early on a Friday evening and had a great meal. Chips were generic, but the salsa won points for flavor and some heat. Entrees were also winners, and service was friendly. Nice little spot -- we'll be back. NOTE for those with a hankering for a frozen marg with your green enchiladas -- Leon County is dry. The iced tea was quite good, though -- you'll be OK. :)

The best thing on the menu is the street nachos! Grilled onions, poblanos with bacon -- so good! We also love their queso.

My husband and stopped here on our way to Dallas and were so glad we picked this spot! The food tasted fresh. The service was good. Overall seemed like a nice local restaurant that I’m happy I was able to support.

A very nice hole in the wall, Tex-Mex Restaurant in the small town of Centerville, Texas. The Salsa is a bit different from most, but still very tasty. The green sauce is spicy, but also quite tasty. I couldn't stop eating it. ☺️ The folks that run the place are extremely nice, and stay on top of refills of both drinks and chips/Salsa. The food came out very hot, fresh and good. The Chili Gravy needs only to reduce the saltiness. But all in all I was very impressed. Can't wait to go back and try another dish. The Guacamole is awesome! I forgot to take a picture of my meal. But I'll get one next visit.

Small place with good food! Loved the red and green salsa as well. I had fajita nachos and my partners had chicken enchiladas and street tacos. Very good. Enjoy!

Great service . I always get the Fajita salad because there's so much love in every bite, this is a very special item on their menu.

It is not a big place but the food is excellent. I had shredded chicken enchiladas, beans and rice. Salsa and chips with a side of Pico. Great place to grab lunch. The portions are large and well worth the money. I will eat there again.

Wow! Tucked away in this sleepy little town of downtown Centerville Tx. Is a great little Mexican restaurant. We walked in and were greeted immediately. I saw Sheriff's deputies eating lunch and I said you know they know where the good places are to eat in this town, and let me tell you the food was delicious! Fast service, delicious meals, and fair prices makes Fonda Mexican Restaurant a great place to stop. Oh yeah, .it's just off I45 on hwy 7.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking right in front and the ramp is right next to it!

Better of the two Mexican food options in Centerville- their hours are a mystery tho. Sometimes they are open , sometimes closed lol. But worth a stop and good food
