Very cool spot with a lot to look at in store with friendly employees. Food on the other hand is sub-par. Tried the brisket/sausage sandwich, shrimp poppers, ribs and boudin ball. Sandwich 2/5 was lukewarm, shrimp poppers 1/5 (also expensive), ribs 2/5 were very dry, boudin ball 4/5 (recommend). Good pit stop but be weary of the food.

We've been in Woody's many times. Restrooms are always clean, and they seem to have lots of goodies to choose from. We decided to try the BBQ. It was HORRIBLE! Who pre-slices brisket?!! I worked in a BBQ place. You would have been fired for doing that because it discolors and dries out the meat. That's exactly what happened to this brisket. They were also very skimpy on the meat compared to ANY other BBQ place we have ever gone to. I got exactly 2-1/2 slices of the brisket on my sandwich. I couldn't eat much of it because it was just that bad. What I did eat was only because I had pickles to help the flavor. My daughter got a baked potato with chopped beef on it. They don't even give you the choice of BBQ sauce or not. That includes the sliced brisket. That's just bizarre! The skin of the potato was inedible and the meat was just barely eatable. She didn't finish her food either. We were still hungry since we didn't finish our lunch, so we decided to get something sweet. The cashier talked my daughter into getting a kolache. We tried the kolache when we got to the car. It was soggy and disgusting! We each took a bite and spit it back out. NEVER AGAIN! This was so disappointing and such a waste of money!

I stopped bc they had truck parking and when I went inside, my eyes lit up with excitement. Its like a mini Bucees but better. I was looking around for at least 20 mins bc everything was catching my attention. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. I will definitely be back for that huge cinnamon roll.Parking: Glad they have truck parking.

Went to purchase Boudin,asked for them to heat up. They want to charge additional $3 bucks to heat. RIDICULOUS!!! This must be something new,never had this fee before. This need to be removed right away. Sharing this info with ourTrucker Buddies.

This is a pretty cool little store. The prices are a little high but very nice and unique gifts.The store is very clean, every part of it. The bathrooms are very nice.The food was great!The one thing that I would complain about is in the sitting area, the dining chairs are super loud. Maybe put some rubber bottoms on those chairs.
This is a favorite midway stopping place traveling between DFW and Houston. They have hot sandwiches, multiple types of jerky, snacks, hot and cold beverages, and desserts. They keep the place clean inside and out. And they have public restrooms. They've been there well before Buc-ee's existed. They have a website for online ordering, and they ship anywhere. I placed an order for a cousin serving in the Middle East and he not only received what I ordered but they doubled up a couple types of the jerky I ordered for him. I can't say they do that all the time, but it sure made my cousin very happy and popular. They sell fuel for people needing a fill up. And they have a grassy area to allow dogs to relieve themselves, just make sure they are on a leash. There are 2 locations, one on the Southbound side of I45 and one on the Northbound side in Centerville Texas.Dietary restrictions: They do have both sugared and sugar free treats.Wheelchair accessibility: They have two ramps to allow wheelchair bound people access.
1st time here ! Like the other reviews, this place is great . I ordered the Chooped Beef sammich, and it came with pinto beans . Jalapeño Cheddar sausage link . 3 Chopped Beef tacos for later . I will say the Chopped Beef sammich was on point !!! Very good . To be honest, it was all good . I'm very pleased I stopped by here . I come through here ever so often and will be back . Soo good !!! I also bought a wedge of Wisconsin cheese and Peppered Pork Tenderloin .Hope to see ya on the road !Like and follow for more .
