I was road-tripping and couldn’t wait to get some woody’s jerky. I picked up a plain sausage roll and a blueberry pastry, maybe their version of a kolache. The bread is just terrible, it’s super heavy and salty. The bread should be slightly sweetened and much lighter for kolaches. Jerky was a major lifesaver on my hike and the bathrooms are pristine. Still love Woody’s.
Great food. Wonderful folks. Relaxing atmosphere. Lots of local products. Barbecue sauce hit the spot. Sweet tea could of been sweeter, but that's just how I prefer mine. Very clean and organized stop. I will be visiting again.
Brisket was... dry and looked old (not fresh) and multiple dark colors. Food wasn't that great, all except the actual FREE beans which were good. Prices were steep and everything a la carte. Good stop to stretch your legs and get some snacks but gonna cost to actual get full. Staff not too friendly either. Plus side.. there are multiple options for the family...salad, sandwiches, potatoes, meats, desserts so maybe something for everyone.
