We never been there before and wanted to try it. Everyone was friends and awesome people. The sandwiches were great 👍🏼 👍🏼. If I had anything that is change... French fries some 💣 fries would of totally made the day. None the less will definitely be going back.
Both of us had the Ms. Rip. I had chopped, husband had sliced. Very generous portions of meat and some of the best BBQ we've ever had. Took home buttermilk pie and banana pudding. Both of which were homemade. Banana pudding is the best I've had since my Daddy's homemade. So full haven't eaten my pie yet, but Im sure it's just as good. Covered Outdoor seating with TV. Highly recommend and would do a repeat!!.
Rip and his staff were very welcoming from the parking lot. We stopped in on our way home to Austin after a long road trip and we can now say we have tried some of the best barbecue in Texas. Rip offers free beans, jalapeño or regular and you will feel like you are at your family's pit as Rip makes small talk with you while preparing your food. Don't miss out on this Texas hometown friendly and welcoming experience! You won't regret it!
