I had the vegetable plate and it was very tasty. The turnip greens, pinto beans, and okra were on point. My son let me try one of his onion rings, and it was a little greasy but also very good. I have to give them special kudos for having RC cola at the soda fountain. It is one of my favorites and I thought it was worth a mention. I like this place and will be back to try some of the other yummy looking sides. Right now I am thinking about the mac and cheese.

Having been diagnosed with Gout, this is the only place I can eat fish and not have a problem. My son loves the fried chicken with a side of french fries. As long as Pop's is in business, I will always be a loyal customer.

Typical buffet style food. Not overly seasoned so bland in flavor. Will go to other chicken places first but if your in a hurry for quick lunch that fills the stomach and not looking for "gourmet " then this will hit the spot for you.
