This was such a lovely random find on our roadtrip! We stopped by today and talked with the young lady working. She was such an awesome person, with a great/kind/ welcoming personality! The wine was a little too bitter for our taste, but they did have a lot to pick from. They also use local grown grapes and no artificial sweeteners! The building is so fun & the vibes are great! You have to stop by and check it out!

I hate we didn’t get the server’s name but she is fabulous! (Dark, curly hair and a beautiful smile) She had personality exploding everywhere. She was so knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely friendly. I would have bought anything in the place just because of her. The building is amazing as well. This is a must stop on your travels

My fiance and I were driving back on through to DFW and decided to stop into 501 winery, what a great decision that was! We were warmly greeted by our host Beverly and absolutely loved her, she was marvelous, hospitable, fun and knowledgeable. Beverly went above and beyond during our tasting experience so much so that the already fantastic tasting wine was that much more delicious! 501 is a beautifully decorated boutique winery within a historic building, we highly recommend this establishment, really well done. I particularly love white wines and the Moscato and Debutante varieties were abundantly flavorful, sweet, crisp and sensational. I've been to many wineries and I truly loved our experience here, from the hospitality to the decor and quality of the wines. Thank you so much, we look forward to visiting again!!

I am not a big fan of most red wines. However, I liked EVERYONE that they had. My favorite was Sangiovese.

Great selection of wins with the local being very good. Good place to stop, taste the wines and chill with a glass of wine, and catch up on text and email while traveling. Restroom and comfortable chairs. A cheese and cracker board to go along with wine would be great, but did not exist.

We just happened to pass this place on our way back home from New Mexico. We live in McKinney, Texas. We stopped in for a drink and to stretch our legs. This place is adorable and the wine is really good. I highly recommend it if you’re passing through Childress. Our server was named Dana. Very sweet lady.

Lovely historic building in downtown Childress. We just followed the signs to get there. My wife fell in love with the chocolate sauce. I asked for a sweet fruity wine. We purchased both. Friendly woman behind the counter. Very helpful.
