As we RV’d through Texas we came across the Christoval Winery and what a wonderful surprise! We did the two flights of the white wines and loved them all. The vineyard and setting were so lovely and relaxing. The owner was full of knowledge and so great to talk with. We enjoyed the whole experience!
We were visiting family in Ozona, TX and saw Cristoval Winery as a nearby attraction.
If you know this part of Texas, then you know it's mostly scrub land, pear cactus, mesquite, clump grasses and sand... and more sand... then a bit more sand.
Once we drove onto the Cristoval property, it was like driving into an oasis, lots of oak trees, green grass, landscaping, and vineyards
It was more Napa valley than oil patch.

What a wonderful experience getting to go on a tour of this place. Our guide was super insightful and pleasant, the land is beautiful, and the tastings were catered with enough variance to try new things. If you are in the surrounding area I could not recommend this place enough for a fun outing and to try something different.
