We love this restaurant in Christoval. The food is consistently delicious and the service is excellent. I especially like the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. My step kids don't always eat Mexican food, but the American food is equally delicious. We've been to other Hidalgo's restaurants in San Angelo, but the Christoval location is the absolute best!!

I really want to be as blunt as possible....the food really stinks !!...it is by no way a Mexican Style food restaurant. They really go out if their way to make it as comfy as possible, (a very big) BUT?...the food just stinks as a run for the border restaurant. Bit one plate tastes Mexican at all...not one!!!. The environment is amazing, the ladies go out if their way to make you feel alright and welcomed, however the kitchen area deserves a fantastic area of opportunity and some revamping of some sort. The attentions are top notch though.
Always get overcharged. Ordered enchiladas with white sauce and a drink and it was $25. Won’t be back

We LOVE to eat at Hildagos, and visit them once or twice a week! They have a variety of authentic Mexican food and a great variety of American dishes. My husband's favorites are the grilled catfish, as well as the club sandwich with onion rings. I love their enchiladas, chalupas and Cuppas plate! The staff and servers are very attentive ~ highly recommend visiting Hildagos in Christoval!
