Went in seeking something fresh like fruit. While they didn't have fresh produce in the store, we found meat, cheese and crackers to meet our need. Staff went the extra mile to make certain we had supplies to eat on the road.

Chicken was delicious but went about 6:00 pm. Out of fried okra & potato salad. Not many sides available. Cashier kept saying she was sick:( May have gone on bad nite but do not plan to go again

The fried chicken was great; chicken-salad sandwich was good. Ambiance was interesting--a diner atmosphere adjacent to a small gift shop. Staff was friendly and fast despite a mini-rush when a church van of people showed up.

I was very surprised to read a non 5 star review for this sleepy little town with only a few dining options. Then again that bad review came from someone who made an account to make one review which I do not give much credit to. We stopped in and talk about country home cooking with some country hospitality. This will now be out half way stop between Fort Worth and Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Justin was incredibly service oriented with a very interesting story on his journey in life. It's a quick stop, for a quick bite, with some deep fried chicken tenders that will make your mouth melt. The onion rings were awesome. The cost was very affordable.

This is an excellent place to stop on the way to or from Amarillo. The wifi is super fast, so you can check your email or surf the web while you relax Whether it be for coffee or their excellent burritos and home made salsa, or their fried chicken dinners, you'll love it. I come to Clarendon a couple of times per year to visit my son and it's a staple place for my breakfast several days per week.

Ordered the beef enchiladas. This was without a doubt the most bland Mexican food we've ever eaten. Had to put salt and pepper on it to give it flavor. The "salsa" was served from a ketchup squeeze bottle. Tasted like V8 juice. It also got the salt and pepper treatment. Should have left at that point, had hopes that the food would be good. $23 for a very disappointing meal.
