So drove an hour to get here and it was closed. Door opened, keys on counter, no one to be found. We waited about 15 min and finally someone appeared to let us know they were closed! We drove and hour to check this place out. Don’t make the same mistake.

Texas Wild Distilling is a solid spot with a great local feel. The drinks are smooth and well made, and the place has a cool, laid-back vibe that makes it easy to hang out and enjoy. The staff is what really stands out — super friendly, helpful, and they know their stuff without trying too hard. Only reason it’s not a full five stars is I wish the food options or seating were a bit better, but honestly it’s still one of the best places around to kick back with a good drink and good people.

The space they have is perfect for anyone wanting to host an event as well as having great food and drink options. Someone recommended this place and I have no clue why. Our experience was just bad. It seemed completely dysfunctional. No one greets you at the door, you sit in some broke down chairs in a very poorly lit room. We had to use the flashlight on our phone to even see the menu. The waitress appeared to have no clue what she was doing. We ordered root beer to go with our pizza,it was completely flat. We asked for thin pizza, as shown in the pic. The photo on this review is part of the reason we decided to give it a try, not pics from our experience. When we asked for thin pizza the waitress seemed perplexed, she came back and said the cook said they only have thick pizza. Sorry but the pizza pictured is not thick. We paid for our drinks,that we didn't drink and we left. We will stick with Soul Fire from now on. This experience was just bizarre, we won't be back.
