Best burger around! I grew up eating Morris Neal’s and always loved the simple and tasty burger. I have craved this burger on two continents and got one as soon as I got home.

Lately - my ONLY criticism is the music. This burger shack has always had the best atmosphere because it’s simple. Now there is music playing inside and out. It’s too loud. I can’t hear the server when placing an order. The music makes customers have to talk louder and it’s rather unpleasant.

I’d be getting my burgers to go but easily half the charm is the old-fashioned simplicity of the place. Also waiting for a to-go order is an acoustical assault. Morris Neals IS an old fashion burger shack - it doesn’t need oldies (and especially not country) music to set the tone. The tone is in the DNA.

Please make it peaceful again. Our lives are bombarded with media every second of the day. Not everywhere has to be Disneyland - full of stimulation. Let’s have this island of peace from all the needless noise in the world!

If Morris Neal’s needs to improve business - genuinely let me help. I’ve had ideas for this place my entire life!

Food was great!!

My wife and I went on Saturday evening, June 21st. We hadn't been in years. The burgers were great! The fried jalapeños were hands down the best anywhere. The place was packed and busy with phone orders but the staff handled the pressure like champions. They really kicked butt. I appreciate ya'll. Thanks.

One of the best burgers in johnson county!

This place is absolutely outstanding. The service was swift and courteous. The food is fresh and made to order. The flavor was great. Their sweet potato fries are some of the best I've had. I definitely will be visiting again and highly recommend you give it a shot. You won't be disappointed!!

Food was delicious. Venue is small but everyone is willing to share space. They also have a cute little patio. We will be back.

I felt the prices were high. I ordered a small bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink. Hamburger was freshly cooked, but fries were frozen. My order was $11+. Personally I prefer grumps.

Good hamburgers. Small dining area. Maybe 8 tables. Cozy sitting area. There is also room outside with a view of the courthouse clock tower. I had the slim Jim burger with fries and iced tea. The wife had the Junior Jim burger with onion rings and iced tea. These burgers are not too larger so bigger appetites might want to order the double. This is a local hangout and is usually crowded during lunch. Our bill before tip was $23.98 for the two combo’s.

I first came here as a kid with my dad, and went again recently and it was just as excellent as I remember!

Its an original place.
