Beautiful place.. looked great.. but.. my poor husband and I didn't have $300 to eat.. so we drank a few cocktails that I'm assuming we're $20 each.. but the Long Islands were awesome.. it was fun and first time out cheap , wealthy, constantly bragging about his triumphs, narcissistic cousin chad and his once nice but now rude chunk monk wife bought us anything.. thanks chad & Priscilla'

We tried this place when we first move to Rio Vista last summer. We are huge seafood eaters.... but I hate to say this was a disappointment. The food was OK, but not great. The service was really not that great either. We are use to really good seafood. We had the Shrimp boil & it was over cooked. We had to waive our server down for refills. She only came to our table once after we ordered... Maybe we will try it again some day.

Read the reviews and sounded good. Went today for lunch and saw two cars but it looks closed. Noon on a Saturday and no customers so went elsewhere. Looked up reviews and nothing for 7 months?

The best service and hospitality. The food is so fresh and hot and they cater to you the whole time. They even bring you hot towels at the end to wash your hands. We LOVE this place.

I so want a good seafood place and can't find one. Maybe it is the area. It would be great if I could find a great Cajun place anywhere in Johnson county. I would travel far and wide to find 1. I have been to several within the last few months promising good Cajun food with disappointing results. Back to this place which is again disappointing. The fish is old and fishy tasting. everything tasted like it had been sitting for at least an hour .

My husband and I tried this place last night after reading such great reviews. The food was great! I had the combo of shrimp and crab legs. It all comes in a bowl smothered in sauce. Yes, it's very messy but they put a roll of paper towels in front of you and give you warm towels when done. You only get 2 small baby red potatoes. For the price I would have liked to have seen a couple more but there was plenty of shrimp, 1/2 lb legs, half ear of corn and garlic bread. If you don't like really spicy food, go with the least spicy option of spice. I went with medium and it was pretty spicy. My husband had the crab cake basket which was really good. He also ordered a side of fried catfish. That was the best catfish we both have tasted! Breading was perfectly done and fish was nice and flaky. Seasoning of breading was excellent. The only suggestion we would have for the owner is that the window blinds were filthy! My husband noticed it and when he pointed it out to me, it turned me off slightly. We want to bring our in-laws there but if they noticed that, they wouldn't want to come back. I just hope the kitchen is clean. Bathroom seemed fairly clean. Also could use a decor makeover. Everything is just hodgepodge in there. My husband and I will be back though!
