Loved the whole experience. They were a little understaffed that day because the dirty plates sat at our table for extended periods of time but when one asked them to remove it, they would do it immediately. The brisket was the best ever tasted and it's the second time I been there. Drove in from fort Worth just to eat there. It was worth the trip. 💖

35 years! That should tell you something. A mom and pop restaurant that's always busy. I love their buffet and salad bar. And my husband loves their simple chopped beef sandwich and chips. I've never tried their breakfast as we don't live in town, but that should tell you something else about them. We'll drive 40 miles to have a lunch date here.

Food was subpar. The brisket didn't have much flavor and most of it was fat. Their sides and salad bar was good and the chicken wasn't half bad. The woman who seated us seemed like she didn't like her job and didn't even smile or greet as we walked in. Very very pricy.

Food is really good and nice selection. I got chopped brisket and fried fish with various sides from buffet. Only reason 4 stars instead of 5 was because there was no tator salad which is a staple with BBQ! 😉

The next morning, my husband was still thinking about the amazing food at the buffet. That was simply the best quality buffet we have ever had. I ordered from the menu and my potato with chopped beef was great! Service was wonderful and personable. The WEG Punch was so good, I hated to restrain myself to just 2, but I was driving. If you're in Cleburne or Joshua, this is the place to bring your family when they come visit. Large tables and booths are very accommodating.

Okay food and selections, could be a bit better quality wise. Still enjoyed this southern hole in the wall! I was disappointed in the chicken fried steak, it just seemed to be prepared way ahead of time, same with the catfish. I was looking forward to eating here again, haven't been since 2013. if I come back I will order off the menu in hopes of better food! love the esthetic of the place and I almost bought a hat.

This a great dang place here. It’s a restaurant and a bar. Hailey was my waitress. A very polite young lady. If I come back here. I hopes she’ll be my waitress again. Salad and breakfast bar was spot on. Sure beats truck stop food. Can’t go wrong here. If you are in and big rig. Park at Walmart. It’s a little walk. But is place is worth it.
