Love this place. Every thing is homemade and delicious. Fried green tomatoes were the best. The marble brisket ribs pulled pork and sasuage has a perfect smoke with excellent flavor. The potatoe salad coleslaw slaw and ranch beans are a favorite. You have not experienced BBQ until you eat here

Monthly visits for the best Prime Rib in town, hamburgers to DIE for, and comin in to town from Houston, they were lockin the doors, they opened up, made two, huge chopped beef sandwiches, and knew that we would be back, and we were!

I can't say enough good things about Big Mike's Barbecue! The people here are simply amazing, and the service is outstanding. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The steaks are hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection every time. And the chicken and dumplings? Absolutely the essence of home-cooked comfort. Amazing pork and brisket!! The boudin was ok but I should have got the spicy kind . Great place and people!!
Good food, good portions, reasonable prices, good service, friendly people and the inside's fairly nice. The only problem for us is the smoking. It really tears us up. Even on the days when they don't allow smoking, the odor is still very strong. If they ever put in a dedicated non-smoking area, we'll be back, because everything else is very good.

This is the best rural area steak restaurant in the area. The food is awesome...the service is good, but the interaction with the owner (big mike) was exceptional (and im black). He made me feel like i was family. And it's BYOB. LOVE IT!!! I promise, when im in the area, i will be back.
