My experience was absolutely aweful!I ordered 2 Seafood Samplers,1 which consisted of burnt,old,hard French fries,2 old & hard Hushpuppies,3 Overcooked Fish,3 old Oysters,and 2 old Shrimp,I paid $15 per plate and paid $1 for both plates for EXTRA SHRIMP, WHICH IS 2 MORE SHRIMP PER PLATE,I ONLY RECEIVED 2 SHRIMP TOTAL ON ONE ORDER,THEY CHEATED ME MY EXTRA 2 ON BOTH PLATES,WE WERE SUPPOSSED TO HAVE 5 SHRIMP EACH PLATE AND ONLY RECEIVED 2 ON ONE PLATE & 3 ON THE OTHER PLATE,IT WAS SUPPOSSED TO BE 5 SHRIMP EACH ON BOTH PLATES,ONLY TECEIVED 5 TOTAL,WE WERE SHORTED 5 SHRIMP,AND TO TOP IT OF WE CALLED FISHTALES IN CLEVELAND,TEXAS AND SPOKE TO MANAGER ON DUTY,AND SHE SAID I WAS ONLY SUPPOSSED TO HAVE 3 SHRIMP TOTAL ON EACH PLATE,I TRIED EXPLANING TO HER THAT I PAID $1.00 EXTRA for both plates to have 2 extra shrimp per plate,sincerely DISGRUNTLED

We have been long time customers of fishtail, but here is the last several months. It has been horrible. It seems like the Cook does not take the proper time to cook. The food French fries are always soggy and lamb. The hush puppies are usually still raw and we have asked them multiple times to extra extra crispy or food and they just can’t seem to take their time and get it right.

This place is like home away from home. Mr. Scott was amazing!! We ordered two appetizers, fried green tomatoes and the fried alligator, which was phenomenal 😋. We both ordered the large catfish dinner and did half fried half blacked with hand cut fries and everything was seasoned to perfection. Usually at other places we need cocktail and tarter sauce but the food was seasoned so well that we forgot all about the sauce it was so good. The portions are huge and we had plenty left over to take for the next day. They also offer homemade cakes for dessert. This day they had German Chocolate and Coconut Cake. The sweet tea is to die for and Mr. Scott let me.take a gallon of that liquid gold home as a welcoming gift to the neighborhood!! The service was wonderful and we will definitely be back to visit our new favorite fish spot. If you're thinking about what to eat tonight stop by and treat yourself 😊 Thanks again for everything.

This place isn't good like it was in the past. The fish is bland, and the fries are soggy! Then they have the nerve to charge you $2.00 per piece of fish for nuggets! That's not fish fillets. That's small pieces of fish! Almost $100.00 to feed a family ridiculous prices for this quality of food.

My wife and I ordered 2, five peice fish dinners, fried oysters, shrimp, 2 crab cakes, 2 stuffed shrimp. The most dissatisfied I have ever been. The 5 peices of fish was less that one filet total. They looked like the french fries with no seasoning. The crab cakes were the same exact batter and taste as the stuffed shrimp. The oysters were so salty we couldn't eat them. We learned our lesson. Never again Fisttails.

First time I had worse cooked tasting food. Mozzarella sticks were overdone in gooey. It was a take-home item. I should have checked it before I left. I have never had this kind of cooking before. It's horrible. Got on a salt

They best Seafood this side of the Gulf. My wife and I both ordered the Duo. She substituted onion rings and I chose slaw. The shrimp tasted like they were swimming 5 minutes earlier and the catfish was easily in my top 5 ever. The lady behind the counter was helpful and patient. Service was prompt and carried a smile with it. A MUST VISIT AND RETURN!!!

The crew will turn on you. They talk, jabber, but don't care if your food is cooked well done, like how you ask it to be Every. Single. Time. So, I've seen them lose customers, before my eyes. They acted like I didn't know if my food was soggy friend or well done, like it was supposed to be. Another customer complained that it was 42° outside, with a heater on the counter, but floor fans going full speed. Employee jumped on his son, which was a high school age student. I have not been in that place since I had my horrible experiences. 🤨🙄🤐
Great fried seafood. The French fries could have been crisper. Hush puppies were excellent.

My first red flag should’ve been that the place was completely empty on a Saturday night, but I decided to take my chances and unfortunately got the catfish platter and Red beans and rice. The catfish and the french fries were rubbery and doughy, And the red beans and rice looked and tasted more like refried beans. Should’ve saved the 20 bucks and just cooked it myself!

Definately not worthy. Everything was very bland. No seasoning on anything but the boudin balls (and that was weak). On top of all that they still charged me for food not recieved.

Was there this afternoon and was very disappointed. The service was friendly, atmosphere was bland, the food was awful. I got the 5 piece fish, fries and hush puppies. The fish was not crispy to start with I imagine because I asked for extra crispy only to get ( pieces of cardboard, the fries tasted old and was not crispy, the hush puppies were a bite ful of uncooked cornbread. Pitiful!!🤮
