I bought a 2 pieces meat, ribs and brisket. Brisket was good, see a comment of the brisket having to much fat, some BBQ places asked if you want fat or little to none, I only had one place ask me that and forgot the name of how they say it. The potato salad and beans were okay, it's BBQ, not everything gotta be scratched. I enjoyed it, a lot of these comments on here seem like those who eat at fancy indoor BBQ places and expect a BBQ stand to put out the same effort.Don't be alarmed by the comments. Try it for yourself.

The gentleman was very nice. I paid 16 dollars for a double order of ribs which should've been 4 ribs. Got home and only had 3. They were not even warm and I have cooked ribs most of my life so it's not too hard to figure out how to do them right and have them tender. These were tough. The barbecue beans were definitely from a can. Nothing was fresh and it was a big let down because it did smell good when I pulled up there. I won't be going back.

Had a "brisket"sandwich with onions and picklesAnd a "chicken" sandwich with pickle and onionwhen I was the only customer it took 2 very nice gentlemen 20-ish minutes to make 2 sandwiches that were both cool on the inside. The brisket was a few days old in my opinion.you could tell the fats inside the meat were grainy or sandy feeling in your mouth( like it had been in the fridge overnight next day pot roast feel)The fat to meat ratio was way to fat heavy for my liking.Chicken tasted like a standard pre-seasoned pre cooked Walmart special chicken from the freezer section.20$ even for just the sandwiches left me wanting. If you on the road and you need to stop and stretch your legs for 20 or 30 minutes this might be an okay place to catch something on the go but I won't be dining here again experience overall not worth it.

The potato salad was awful; heb has better potato salad then here. The pulled pork sandwich was full of fat and was gross my hubby spat the whole thing out he isnt even picky. The brisket sandwich was okay not GREAT but okay sausage on stick was decent everything could have been better honestly.

Spent 24 dollars on 2 sandwiches just for them to be refrigerator cold. Waste of money.

1. Sliced Brisket Sandwich was okay. It was not dry or anything, I just wasn't expecting BBQ sauce on it. Honestly, I did not know that was even a thing (especially in Texas). Brisket should speak for itself, in my opinion.2. I think, but could be wrong with today's prices, $9.00 seems quite high for two 1/8 inch slices of brisket on a bun.

Don't sleep on this brisket. They are only open Wednesday through Sunday you only have a limited amount of time. I didn't intend on getting food but the smell of bbq cooking was too much to ignore. The menu looked good, they had sausage, boudin, ribs, chicken, and beef brisket. I had to get a brisket sandwich, but I also got some smoked boudin. The boudin was great, it's best off the grill or smoked. The brisket was cut thick, seasoned well, and very juicy and tender. I should have bought two, I shared my snack, I pass by here now and then I will be back to eat some more. I need more of this place. I left there happy and impressed. These guys have a quality product and it's worth checking out. Makes me wish they were down the street.
