This surprising local diner has a friendly staff and great food. I had the Hawaiian Ham and cheese sandwich and my wife had an ultimate grilled cheese and fries. Sorry I didn't take pictures. We hope to go back.

This place is AMAZING! I have been a fan of Breaking Bread since I moved to Clifton. My go-to is whatever their special is for the day, you get a lot of bang for your buck. The sandwich is huge, the cup of soup is delicious, and then you get a cup for your fountain drink or tea. They also have the best pickles, they’re ice cold and juicy. I am so glad they’re open in the evenings now as well, it’s such an easy decision to chose this restaurant over others. The owners, Charisse and Paul, are like family. They welcome everyone with open arms and will always start a conversation with you!

This is a cozy place downtown with ample seating. Orders are taken at the counter and you can then select your seating arrangement. Service was courteous and friendly. Lunches were served as ordered with plentiful portions. We enjoyed a very relaxing mid-day break.
