The ribs were super dry and I didn’t like the taste of their bbq sauce. The coleslaw was bad. I told my in-law to send it back, but she didn’t want to have to deal with all the trouble of going back and it was late.

Way overpriced.
The food is very good with large portions. The people are nice and friendly.
Coming from Europe I was told to visit this place. That was one year ago and I still remember the brisket from the Bunkhouse like it was yesterday how good it was.

Better than typical ham sand. Good stop
Oh. My. Gracious.
We just ate here, and had the brisket, pulled pork and sausage. Also had the loaded potato and sides (corn nuggets and beans).
This was THE best BBQ we have ever had. Run, do not walk, to get you a plate!
We were taking some more rural roads back to Ft Worth and decided to hit up a local BarBQue joint on the way. What a good find. Delicious brisket not all full of fat, generous portion was served with two sides. The coleslaw and fried okra were fresh and delicious. The corn nuggets were a little sweet for our taste. This was a great place for BarBQue. Nice staff too.
I ordered the 3 meat plate with coleslaw and potato salad. They were all good and I’m glad I stopped by.
I smoke a lot of my own briskets and hardly ever go to BBQ places because you usually feel like you wasted your money. This place served up some great smoked meats and I’ll definitely go back if I’m in the area. He trimmed the brisket perfectly so there wasn’t a thick layer of fat that you see at most places.
In the picture, the seasoned turkey was on top and there was plenty of brisket and sausage under it for my “haven’t eaten a thing all day” appetite.
The folks here are very friendly and hospitable. Make you feel they are glad you are there and they can serve you. The food is fantastic. Brisket was the most tender and flavorable we have had. The potato salad was very good and the fried okra was hot, fresh, and tasty. The barbecue sauce was very flavorful and we enjoyed mixing the regular and spicy. The portions were bountiful. We shared a brisket platter and there was more than enough food for two. Very delighted by our lunch here and highly recommend Bunkhouse BBQ.

I tried Bunkhouse BBQ and it was great. I ordered the 3 meat plate to try the Brisket, Sausage and Seasoned Turkey. I chose potato salad and coleslaw for my 2 sides. They were all great and would definitely return. The interior was clean and the staff was friendly. As someone who smokes their own brisket rather than go to a BBQ joint, I was glad I tried it. There was no fat on my slices, so they trimmed it correctly before smoking it and it was very tender. In the pic, the turkey portion is on top but there was plenty of all 3 meats.
The food was good but nothing impressive, I would go again to try a different dish.
Great BBQ and kind folks. If you are in the area, I recommend stopping in for a great meal

We stopped in Clifton, TX. to get gas. One of the locals said Bunkhouse BBQ was under new ownership and back into the original family. Let me tell you this is some damn good BBQ. We had the sausage, brisket (lean), turkey, and ribs. Sausage was great, brisket was nice and tender with good smoke and flavor (no sauce needed), turkey breast had nice and smoky taste and very juicy, ribs were on point (nice tasting glaze). Also tried the sauces all of which were good and can go with several meats. Okra was great, Mac n cheese was good. Make a short trip and try this place out. Great atmosphere and Service, owner knows his Q.
