Hubby and I out day tripping and came across this winery. Well we really enjoyed all the flavors. I highly recommend the frozen Strawberry Rita, very delicious. Plan on going back on a Saturday.

It gives no pleasure to write negative reviews, to me anyway. But it can be helpful to others. The Red Caboose Winery has a pleasant roomy interior and generally friendly staff and patrons. However, all products I tried were of mediocre quality at best, especially for their price. The price I paid for one item was much higher than that listed. My fault for not questioning this. The spirit flight I tried was VERY lightly poured. I was offered a snack with my tasting that never showed up. The people next to me got one. One item that stood out was their cilantro-infused vodka ... delightful! They have a beautiful painting of some dogs chasing a red caboose. Perhaps symbolic? Sadly, that alone is not a reason to catch this train.

Best winery around lake Whitney. They have a porch you can sit on and the lady will take excellent care of you. I bought a lot of wine and got turnt up.

Customer service was absolutely horrible. Not so much as a hello as she stayed to talk to the only other two people in the establishment. Spent forever trying to figure how to read our IDs and then placed them on the counter instead of our hands where we gave them to her. She didn't follow what I asked for in my tasting. I was not fond of the wine. I've only been here once before but we will not be back.

Very nice experience! Calm and relaxed room, peaceful. The lady from Rhode island was friendly and professional. Drinks mixed well...frankly surprised they had mixed drinks and thankful they did! Sampled many wines, variety of tastes. Can find something u like...

What a charming place to sample wines/spirits from local vineyard from Meridian, Texas. There's some really wonderful flavors Temp, Merlot, Sharaz. If your not into wines, please go for the jalapeno or cilantro flavored vodkas. Plus their new bourbon is very good meat. I'll be back again.
